Form Analysis: Redcliffe November 5

RACE 1 

LAST CALL (4) worked hard to lead early last time out before handing over to October Racketeer and closing strongly late into a close up second. She draws a touch awkwardly in this race but can win this a few ways and has had good success at this track and trip. 

MAYWYNS ACE (9) appears suited in this race by the soft trailing draw on the back row. He got back in the run last time out and was making up some ground in a race taken out by Jimmy Bling in good time for the grade. 

TIGER TOMMY (5) was running on strongly into fourth last time out which backed up a good second over the 2138 at Albion Park. She should get a good run off the speed and if the race is run to suit she should be running on again. 

THE REAL ROCKETMAN (7) was able to work across to the lead last time out and took them all the way over the 2138 at Albion Park. He draws inside the back row this time and does seem to be better suited leading but should still get every chance in this race.

RACE 2 

LITTLEMICKEY (1) should be able to drive through and lead in the early stages of this race. He was very good last time out when forced to race without cover and was just run down by Holme Boy who had a much more economical run throughout. 

PENNIE PACKER (7) should get a good run through behind the likely leader in this race. She didn’t have the best of luck last time out but was still able to run into third behind The Tiger Army which looks good form for a race of this nature. 

BRITTS MATE (4) has been racing in excellent form this campaign having scored three wins since early September all at this track. She ran another very good race last time out running into second behind dominant winner The Tiger Army. 

MY PURPLE PATCH (6) got a long way back last time out and was running on late into fourth behind So Many Moments. He draws wide again in this race and looks likely to be shuffled back but should be running on late.

RACE 3

COOL DUDE JOEY (1) has gate speed and may look to press through and lead early in this race. He caught the eye three starts ago when getting back and running on strongly late at Kilcoy before running a good fourth his following start at Redcliffe. 

IAM HUGO (3) should settle close to the speed in this race from a good front row draw. He hasn’t had the best of luck in recent outings when inconvenienced in the run both times. With a better run in this race he should finishing it off strongly. 

LOUMINATE (8) led last time out and was beaten as a short priced favourite at Marburg. She had shown good ability earlier in her career and returning from a spell she should be respected from a good draw in this race. 

HIGHNMIGHTY (5) was set a big task last time out when dashing around them early and pouring it on outside the leader before weakening late to finish at the rear of the field. If she can secure a more favourable run this time she can bounce back.

RACE 4 

MADAM FIRST LADY (3) appeared to trial up quite nicely recently at Albion Park when finishing fourth behind Shards Eclipse. She draws to settle close in this race and with the right run she should figure in the finish on debut. 

COLT KELLY (7) draws awkwardly inside the back row but is racing in good form and appears ready to win. He sat behind the leader and battled on fairly there four fourth behind Doublefault in what appeared to be a stronger race.

AIRFORCE ONE (5) hasn’t run a placing yet in his five start career and will be looking to change that in this race despite the wide draw. 

WILDSTAR DIVA (2) showed enough gate speed to hold the position behind Aurelie who was able to lead and scored a dominant win. She seems to be getting better each run and with a good draw in this race she can play a part in the finish again.

SUGGESTED BET: MADAM FIRST LADY (3) each way. 

RACE 5

TRALEE SNICKAS (2) showed gate speed to hold the lead last time out at Albion Park and was able to take them all the way there. If he can work to the lead again in this race he should be very hard to run down. 

TILLY JAYNE (6) has a wide draw in this race which appears to make things a touch difficult on paper. She worked to the lead two starts ago over the 2040 and was too good there beating Miracle Moose. 

KICK THE SWITCH (5) tracked into the race nicely four starts ago and was a good winner there beating Mister Seaside and rating good time. He should be able to secure a good run off the speed again and should be running on late. 

ART JESTER (1) led early and was beaten a long way last time out. He may elect to take a sit early this time and can be an improver in this race at the more suitable 1780 journey.

SUGGESTED BET: TRALEE SNICKAS (2) to win. 

RACE 6 

MISTER FREEMAN (1) has reasonable gate speed and should be able to drive through and lead early in this race. He led two starts ago and was forced to work hard then when battling on well enough for fourth. He should run well again. 

SAME OLD DEVIL (2) draws favourably in this race to settle close to the speed in the early stages from a good draw. Ran a good second last time out when sitting without cover outside of Im Busted over the 2040 at this track.

CEDAR CREEK FALLS (7) looks likely to get an ideal run through early in this race and is a horse that is seemingly best suited when driven with a sit in her races. She was running on strongly two starts ago into second behind Saturday Dance. 

THE LUVBUG (3) took on a strong race last time out and did things wrong there when well beaten by Race For Riches. This looks a lot easier and she draws to settle close enough in the run.

SUGGESTED BET: MISTER FREEMAN (1) to win.

RACE 7

ROYAL WINKLE (2) has good gate speed and should be able to zip across to the lead in the early stages. He led two starts ago and couldn’t quite finish it off there but may be able to control things a touch more this time out in front. 

LUCKY IN AMERICA (1) has failed to show much gate speed at all previously when drawing low in her races. She has shown enough ability to suggest that with the right run just behind the speed she can be running on late into the finish. 

TAKE COURAGE (5) secured a good run off the speed three starts ago and was running on strongly late into second behind Doolittle Doozzie. She should secure a good run again off the speed and can be running on late. 

OUR DOLLY (4) was first up last time out when well beaten. She should be an improver second up but will need to be.
