Join us trackside to kick off the 2026 Queensland Starlights Carnival with Garrard's Be Good Johnny Sprint Night at The Creek, Albion Park. Enjoy the ultimate Summer Trackside Party, book a private function or enjoy free general admission.

The Be Good Johnny Sprint, named after the late, great Queensland Hall of Famer, has been won by the likes of The Janitor and Blacksadance in recent times. Seen as an important lead-up to the Group 1 Blacks A Fake on 5 December, it is sure to attract a quality field of pacers.

The support card will feature races such as the Somerset Farms Queen of Hearts Pace and heats of the brand new North Star Series.

For those looking to make a night of it, the Summer Trackside Party offers a relaxed summer barbecue atmosphere, with an all-inclusive drinks package from 6pm to 10pm, an all-you-can-eat barbecue featuring burgers, sausage sizzle, wings and more, live entertainment, trackside viewing, betting facilities and all the racing action on the big screen.

Private functions are also available, with drinks packages starting from $55 per person, buffet menus from $60 per person and canapés packages from $28 per person, subject to availability. For enquiries, email [email protected].
