No Coast, No Worries – We're Bringing the Beach to the Bush!

Get ready for the Blackall Beef, Beach & Bush Sprint Carnival at Blackall Racecourse on Saturday, 14 November, as the Barcoo Amateur Race Club celebrates its final race meeting of 2026.

Enjoy a huge day of country racing featuring Racing Queensland's Country Cups Challenge and Country Stampede qualifiers, alongside the Strathmore Santa Gertrudis Stud Cup and the Brady Prow Bush Sprint, featuring the Rodney Kings Fastest Local Rider Bonus.

Off the track, the club is bringing the tropics to Blackall with piña coladas, margarita cocktails, Hawaiian shirts, the Ultimate Beef Tasting Station and The Lodge on Hawthorn Prawn Cocktail Bar.

There's plenty of family fun too, with face painting, a sand pit and lolly drop for the kids.

And when the races are done, the party continues! Enjoy all your favourite tunes and dance long into the night.

Tag your crew, book the babysitter and start practising those dance moves… Barcoo Amateur Racing Club is bringing the heat!
