Innisfail Cup

Innisfail Cup

Saturday 17 October
Innisfail

Celebrate 138 years of racing in Innisfail at the Innisfail Annuals on Saturday, October 17 at Pease Park.

One of the region’s great racing traditions, Caulfield Cup Day will feature six local races and $75,000 in prizemoney and trophies, including the Innisfail Cup, Trainers Cup and the Johnstone River Country Stampede Qualifier.

There’s plenty happening off the track too, with great food and beverages, trackside hospitality and live entertainment adding to the atmosphere throughout the day.

The celebrations continue after the last race, with Riff Raff performing live until 8pm. A free courtesy bus will also operate for patrons travelling from the Innisfail CBD, commencing from 12pm and running until approximately 9pm.

With great local racing, spring fashion, trackside hospitality and live entertainment, gather your friends and enjoy a big day out at the Innisfail Annuals.

Fashions on the Field: Dress for spring and enjoy all the colour and style of Fashions on the Field, with more than $2,000 in prizemoney and gifts up for grabs.

This year’s theme is “Spring in Full Colour – A Touch of Pink,” with racegoers encouraged to embrace fuchsia, cherry red, cobalt blue, emerald green and crisp white, with a touch of pink in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Nominations will be open from 1pm - 3pm, with pre-judging commencing at 3.30pm. Categories are available for ladies, gentlemen, couples, juniors and millinery.

Race Day Hospitality: Make a day of it with a range of hospitality options to suit how you’d like to enjoy the races.

Choose from The Winning Straight Trackside Marquee, offering your own private trackside space for eight guests; The See Poy Social Tables, with reserved seating for groups of eight; or enjoy an afternoon of fashion, food and fun at The Pink Bloom Party.

The Pink Bloom Party includes reserved seating, afternoon tea, race day gate entry and prime viewing for Fashions on the Field, with a contribution from every ticket sold supporting breast cancer awareness.
