The Mount Isa Race Club is set to welcome racegoers for its annual Spring Cup on Saturday, September 26, with a big day of country racing, fashions and entertainment in the heart of the Outback.

Gates open from 11am, with the race program featuring both a Country Cups Challenge Qualifier and Country Stampede Qualifier, along with the Lord Derby Stakes.

Off the track, racegoers can take part in Fashions on the Field, with this year’s Whimsical Wonders theme presented with Outback Events.

There’ll also be plenty of food and refreshments throughout the day, with a canteen and bar onsite, platters available to pre-purchase, plus Kik Back Cafe and Wrappin n Rollin food vans joining the action in the evening.

TAB and bookmaker facilities will be available throughout the day, before the racing action gives way to an afterparty featuring DJ entertainment, presented by Outback Events.
