Small Town, Big Raceday! Pentland Races returns on Saturday, 21 November 2026 with a great day of racing, fashions and plenty happening around the racecourse.

Enjoy the action on the track, along with the Salt Lane Cafe Fashions on the Field, an animal farm and face painting plus a bar and canteen.

Race day style will be a big part of the day with more than $7,000 in prizes up for grabs in the Salt Lane Cafe Fashions on the Field. There’s no set theme, so racegoers are encouraged to celebrate their individual style and dress to impress!

Categories include Colt and Filly for children 12 years and under, Trendy Teen Female and Male, Fashionable Family Affair, Best Dressed Gentleman, Classy Couple, Millinery, Classic Lady and Contemporary Lady. The Kay Sullivan Memorial Lady of the Day will also be selected from the Millinery, Classic Lady and Contemporary Lady winners. More information here.

Gates open at 11am with tickets priced at $30 for adults and $15 for high school students and pensioners, while kids are free. Camping is also available for $10 per person, with no alcohol permitted in the campgrounds.

Tickets go on sale 8 October.  With the event selling out for the past two years and limited tickets available, racegoers are encouraged to get in early.
