The annual Tara Races are back in 2026, with a great day of country racing and entertainment for the whole family.

Gates open at 11.30 am, with a five race program and plenty happening on and off the track throughout the day. Racegoers can enjoy Fashions on the Field, children’s entertainment including inflatables and face painting, onsite bookmakers, a fully stocked bar and plenty of food available for purchase.

Back by popular demand is the Novelty Foot Race, bringing a bit of extra fun to the day.

There’ll also be a Calcutta, with live music continuing until late and a courtesy bus available to help racegoers get to and from the track.
