GENERAL
 
Race 2 – Apprentice Mitch Goring was allowed to ride 1kg overweight on LUNA GLIDE as there was no other available rider.
 
Race 1: SPARROW CONSTUCTIONS QTIS MAIDEN PLATE (1200 METRES)
 
 
GARSIDE – Bumped by VITAL VALENTIA at the start.
 
BRENT STREET – Slow into stride.
 
RUNINSCARED – Began awkwardly and as a result was slow to begin.
 
VITAL VALENTIA – Began awkward and bumped with GARSIDE.
 
 
Race 2: THE ARTESIAN DROUGHTMASTER SALE ALAN PECKETT MEMORIAL CLASS B HANDICAP (1200 METRES)
 
HOT ROD JACK – Jumped outward at the start.
 
DUTTON RANCH – Stood flat footed and missed the start. Connections will consider racing over extra ground in future events.
 
PLUMS AKIMBO – Raced wide rounding the home turn.
 
LUNA GLIDE – Raced wide rounding the home turn. Jockey M Goring was fined $100 under the provisions of AR190(3) for accepting a ride for which he was overweight.
 
STERNY BEAR – Awkward at the start. Trainer C Dixion was fined $200 under the provisions of AR106(2) for negligently presenting the horse with no surcingle.
 
Race 3: NV, EE & NW GOODWIN MEMORIAL CLASS 6 PLATE (1200 METRES)
 
ENTERPRISE GRAND – Apprentice M Goring was reprimanded under the provisions AR143(14)(a) for failing to claim his full allowance.
 
HELMET HEAD – Slow to begin.
 
NEW YORK WORLD – Slow into stride.
 
MORICONI – Raced wide throughout.
 
RAPIDS – Knuckled at the start as a result was slow into stride.
 
THE SQUIRE – Hung out in the straight when under pressure.
 
REALLY REALLY GOOD – Raced three wide in the early and middle stages.
 
Race 4: CLERMONT CONCRETE BELYANDO BRACELET OPEN HANDICAP (1000 METRES)
 
HAN DYNASTY – Bumped at the start by ALGEROBA and PARKBURN.
 
PARKBURN – Jumped in at the start bumping with HAN DYNASTY.
 
FLASH FIBIAN – Slow into stride.
 
ALGEROBA – Jumped awkwardly at the start bumping with HAN DYNASTY.
 
Race 5: PAT DILLON MEMORIAL BENCHMARK 55 HANDICAP (1700 METRES)
The race was delayed ten minutes as the ambulance was required to attend to a patron. The start was further delayed as there were patrons on the track near the 300m.
 
PORTABELLE – App T Townsend reprimanded under AR132(7)(a)(ii) for her use of the whip 7 times prior to the 100m, 1 more than permitted.
 
CALIFORNIA ZIM ZIM – Hung in for the majority of the race and resented the kickback. Apprentice M Goring was reprimanded under the provisions AR143(14)(a) for failing to claim his full allowance.
 
THE LANDING – Reared at the start and as a result was slow into stride.
 
 
Race 6: ALPHA COMMUNITY CUP OPEN HANDICAP (1700 METRES)
 
 
GALAPAGOS – Raced wide throughout.
 
REVENIRE – The saddle shifted rounding the home turn resulting in the jockey being unable to fully ride their mount out.
 
GALACTIC EXPRESS – Slow to begin and trailed the field throughout. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed the horse to be dehydrated and tying up. Trainer C Dixon was fined $200 under the provisions of AR106(1) for presenting the horse with the incorrect saddle cloth number.
 
STAMPEDE WARRIOR – Apprentice T Leslight was fined $500 under the provisions of AR132(7)(a)(ii) for using his whip 7 times prior to the 100m, 2 more than permitted.
