Race 1: J & J SYPHER AND FAMILY QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 2-Y-O & Up 1200 Metres
 
AGNAR – Slow to begin. Blundered shortly after jumping and lost ground as a result.Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
ARE YA THERE – Held up entering the home straight and shifted out passing the 250m to obtain clear running.
 
CIRCUS MAXIMUS – Began awkwardly.
 
LOCK IN – Bumped on jumping and lost ground. Raced wide throughout the event.
 
BELLA RUSSIAN – Began awkwardly.
 
CORONATION DAY – Raced wide throughout the event.
 
TRIPLE JAB – On arrival to the barriers, underwent a pre-race Veterinary examination after making contact with the mounting yard gate post when moving onto the track. Began awkwardly. Shifted out on jumping and bumped LOCK IN. Jockey R Silvera Olivera reported that TRIPLE JAB over raced in the early and middle stages and then after being steadied from heels passing the 700m failed to respond to his riding for the remainder of the event.
 
 
Race 2: LTC SHEDS CONSTRUCTIONS ALAN PECKETT MEMORIAL RATINGS BAND 0 - 55 HANDICAP 1200 Metres
 
ZOUSTRONG – Slow to begin. Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
INTENSE STEEL – Began awkwardly and shifted in on jumping and as a result was slow to begin.
 
STRAYA PRIDE – Began awkwardly. Shifted outwards on jumping and bumped RISE AND RESIST. Raced wide throughout the event.
 
MAYBE – Slow to begin. Over raced in the early stages of the event and was steadied from heels passing the 950m.
 
RISE AND RESIST – Bumped on jumping. Raced wide in the early stages of the event.
 
FINAL COMMENT – Raced wide throughout the event. Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
GERRY'S PICK – Began awkwardly and shifted in bumping MISS HIGHFALUTIN (NZ).
 
MISS HIGHFALUTIN (NZ) – Bumped shortly after jumping and shifted inwards as a result. Raced wide for the majority of the event.
 
PENSIERO – Began awkwardly and lost ground.
 
 
Race 3: NV, EE & NW GOODWIN MEMORIAL CLASS 6 PLATE 3-Y-O & Up 1200 Metres
 
Correct weight was delayed allowing Trainer G Bell and Apprentice Jockey A Meissner to view the patrol footage of the home straight. When Trainer Bell, Apprentice Meissner and Stewards were similarly satisfied, correct weight was given on the judges’ semaphored numbers.
 
BOLD SMUGGLER – Raced wide throughout the event.
 
BENDOLIRRA – Trailed the field throughout the event. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer P O’Toole was advised that a warning would be placed against the gelding for a poor performance.
 
COLD ONE – Began awkwardly.
 
DARK GLEAM – Began awkwardly. Passing the 200m was disappointed for a run between PENINSULA and COLD ONE before shifting in onto the rail passing the 100m.
 
 
Race 4: CLERMONT CONCRETE BELYANDO BRACELET OPEN HANDICAP 1000 Metres
 
SOOPAT – Raced wide throughout the event.
 
RUSH HOUR – Began awkwardly.
 
MON PIERRE – Blundered on jumping. Inclined to lay out down the home straight.
 
THE SQUIRE – Slow to begin.
 
GET WHAT YOU GIVE – Slow to begin.
 
SINGLE HONOR – Raced wide throughout the event.
 
TOKYO SINS – Began awkwardly and shifted in on jumping.
 
RUBUNKAR – Began awkwardly and shifted in shortly after jumping.
 
FLYING RUPERT – Slow to begin. Over-raced in the early stages of the event and was steadied passing the 800m.
 
DUSAN – Slow to begin.
 
 
Race 5: PAT DILLON MEMORIAL BENCHMARK 55 HANDICAP 1700 Metres
 
SHOALWATER BAY – Began awkwardly.
 
BEG ME – Raced wide throughout the event. Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
DIVINE COURAGE – Began awkwardly. Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
KIND WISH (NZ) – Raced wide throughout the event.
 
GREGARIOUS – Began awkwardly.
 
AL ASH LAD – Blundered on jumping.
 
NASSAU COUNTY – Began awkwardly and blundered on jumping. Jockey R Faehr reported that the gelding, after blundering at the start travelled only fairly and failed to respond to his riding throughout the event. A post-race Veterinary examination of NASSAU COUNTY revealed a laceration to the heel of the near side foreleg which was treated by the on-course Veterinarian. Trainer C Austin was advised that NASSAU COUNTY would require a Veterinary clearance before racing or trialling again.
 
 
Race 6: ALPHA COMMUNITY CUP OPEN HANDICAP 1700 Metres
 
TESTATOR SILENS – Shifted in passing the 150m to obtain clear running.
 
CAFFREY (IRE) – Began awkwardly and shifted in shortly after jumping. Inclined to lay in under pressure in the home straight.
 
LITTLE COINTREAU (NZ) – Began awkwardly. Laid in under pressure in the home straight. Jockey M Heagney reported that the gelding was inclined to lay out throughout the event.
 
BONDURANT – Raced wide throughout the event. Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
BOLD HUSSAR – Slow to begin.
 
SCHMOOZER – The start was delayed when the gelding proved difficult to load. Raced wide throughout the event. Jockey D Evans reported that the gelding was inclined to hang out throughout the event and failed to respond to his riding. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Trainer R Simpson was advised that a warning would be placed against the barrier manners of SCHMOOZER.
 
LIP SIP SUK – Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
