RACE 1: SPRING BEAN BENCHMARK 55 H’CAP – 1000M  
 
SECOND TIME AROUND – Late arriving on course due to transportation difficulties.         Examined by the veterinary surgeon upon arrival and was cleared to start.
 
CHEERS FOR AUSBRED – Late arriving on course due to transportation difficulties.          Examined by the veterinary surgeon upon arrival and was cleared to start.
 
FOOLPROOF – Slow to begin.
 
BELLA SASH – Slow into stride.
 
PHANTOM SOX – Laid in under pressure in the home straight. Raced 3 wide without cover for the majority of the race.   
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
RACE 2: BJS PLUMBING 7 CIVIL CONTRACTING MAIDEN PLATE – 1100M 
 
CELESTIAL SON – Slow to begin.
 
LADY SHIVA – Began very awkwardly and lost significant ground.  
 
DAY OF THE FOX – Slow into stride. Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight. Raced 3 wide without cover for the majority of the race.
 
TEXAS GAL – Shifted out at the start bumping with another runner.
 
WATCH ME DAZZLE EM – Shifted in at the start bumping with another runner. Bumped by another runner near the 350m and became unbalanced.
 
BUSH BANDICOOT – Shifted out near the 350m bumping another runner.    
 
RACE 3: THE CANNON FAMILY CLASS 6 PLATE – 1000M 
 
MODEL TO EXCEED – Commenced to over-race when being restrained shortly after the start and raced 3 wide without cover in the early stages of the race.
 
RACE 4: THE PAGODA BENCHMARCK 50 H’CAP – 1200M 

GENERAL SIDERUOS and REGAL ROTH were both declared late scratchings at 12.00pm when no rider was available.
 
Rider S. Wiseman was fined the sum of $200 in that she accepted the ride on MONASHEE LASS and was then unable to fulfil that riding engagement resulting in the horse being declared a late scratching at 12.00pm when no other rider was available.   
 
RENEGADE RUBY – Inconvenienced at the start by another runner and lost ground.
 
CHIC SOX – Began awkwardly and shifted inwards inconveniencing another runner. Shifted ground when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
FLINCH – Slow to begin.
 
NOVA CHINA – Slow to begin. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
THE BEE’S KNEES – Restrained near the 1000m when bumped by another runner which shifted out when racing to its inside and then placed in restricted for a short distance, by another runner racing to its outside which shifted in. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
AESOP – Shifted out near the 1000m bumping another runner.
 
BACKTOSPEC – Shifted in near the 1000m placing another runner in restricted room. Rider S. Kaya was advised to show greater care and to be sure to allow sufficient room to inside runners in similar circumstances.
MONSOON TWISTER – Raced wide for the majority of the race.    
 
RACE 5: TOTAL EDEN BENCHMARK 60 H'CAP – 1400M 
 
FLYING ONE MORE – Delayed the start after making heavy contact with the back barrier gate when attempting to load. Was examined by the veterinary surgeon and was cleared to start.  
 
OUR SINGLE DOUBT – Over-raced in the early stages of the race. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
BIG TOMEE – Threw its head in the air shortly after start and to commenced to over-race and as a result raced wide for the majority of the race.   
 
JIMMY HOFFA – When questioned into the gelding’s performance today, rider F. Edwards advised Stewards the horse failed to respond to his hard riding at any stages of race and was most disappointing. Trainer S. Massingham explained in his opinion the horse will be more competitive when stepped up over distance. Stewards noted his explanation. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
