SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT:
 
Stewards today inquired into a complaint lodged by jockey L. Morrison against track rider D. Crossland in that during trackwork on the morning of 30 October 2021 at the Atherton Turf Club, Mr Crossland steered a horse in her direction when she was pulling up. After hearing evidence from Ms Morrison, Mr Crossland and stable-hand Mr L. Oliver, stewards could not be satisfied to the standard of proof and as such took no direct action other than to remind both Ms Morrison and Mr Crossland of their responsibilities and to conduct themselves in a professional manner.  
 
Race 1: TOLGA LIONS CLUB CLASS B HANDICAP – 1200 Metres
 
DEECATH – Slow into stride.
  
THE DELINQUENT – Began awkwardly.
 
Race 2: WATTOS EARTHMOVING BENCHMARK 55 HANDICAP – 1400 Metres
 
ARUBA – As the gelding had not started for a long period of time it underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was cleared to start. Raced wide without cover for the majority of the race and compounded over the concluding stages.
 
BONYTHON – Blundered badly on jumping dislodging rider L. Morrison and shifted out bumping LET’S CONQUER. When riderless, shifted out approaching the 1200 metres causing LET’S CONQUER to be checked which in turn shifted out resulting in AMELIAS RAINBOW clipping LET’S CONQUER’S heels and blunder. Ms Morrison was attended to by the QAS officers and whilst having a sore left ankle was cleared to fulfil her further riding engagements for the remainder of the day.

RYANO – Slow to begin.
 
SUPER ROSE – Slow to begin.
 
POTAWATOMI – Slow to begin.

AMELIA'S RAINBOW – Checked approaching the 1200 metres. Raced wide for the majority of the race. Lost its near hind plate during running.

LET'S CONQUER – Checked near 1200 metres.
 
Race 3: HAPPY 40TH ANDREW LARCOMBE OPEN HANDICAP – 1100 Metres
 
Correct weight was delayed when stewards considered an objection lodged by rider L. Morrison, the rider of EVIL EYE MAC which finished second against NARDA SHAR (M. Abe) being declared the winner, alleging interference leaving the 300 metres and over the concluding stages. After hearing all of the evidence and viewing of the official race film, stewards could not be satisfied NARDA SHAR was the sole contributor and as such dismissed the objection and declared correct weight on the judges semaphored numbers.
 
HARD YAGA – Bumped on jumping.  Raced four wide without cover for the majority of the race. Rider K. Swaffer explained on returning to scale that the gelding race flat today and failed to respond to her riding. Trainer T. Rowe expressed his disappointment in the gelding’s performance today and advised it is his intention to monitor its preparation going forward after a freshen up.
 
SUPPOSEDLY WICKED – Shifted out at the start, bumping HARD YAGA. Raced wide in the early and middle stages.   

NARDA SHAR – Shifted out rounding the home turn.

EVIL EYE MAC – Shifted out rounding the home turn.
 
Race 4: RACING QUEENSLAND QTIS TWO-YEAR-OLD MAIDEN PLATE – 1000 Metres
 
CHASING DREAMS – Began awkwardly and lost ground.

SUNNY LASS – Slow to begin. Finished tailed off. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

WHITTYKITTY – Slow to begin.
 
NORTHERN ROGUE – Raced wide in the early and middle stages. Raced ungenerously in the middle stages.
 
SOUL SURFER – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
 
 

Race 5: DAVID HIRST BUCKS QTIS MAIDEN PLATE – 1000 Metres
 
OUTDARE – A pre-race veterinary examination of the mare which was fractious during transit to the course revealed superficial lacerations to its near hind leg and was declared a late scratching by order of stewards at 12.55pm acting on veterinary advice.Trainer T. Rowe was advised he must provide a veterinary clearance of soundness prior to its next race start.
 
EAGLE EYE STAR – Bumped on jumping and blundered.

LORD OF LIGHT – Bumped on jumping.

SNEAKY TRUTHS – Slow to begin. Rider S. Sheargold reported the gelding raced greenly for the majority of the race.

SHE'S A SINNER – Began very awkwardly and shifted out bumping LORD OF LIGHT.
 
MASARED – Shifted out at the start bumping EAGLE EYE STAR. Commenced to over-race approaching the 700 metres and when attempting a narrow run between EAGLE EYE STAR which and SNEAKY TRUTHS, clipped the heels of EAGLE EYE STAR and blundered. Continued to over-race having to be restrained off heels near the 500 metres.
 
SUFFRAGETTE CITI – A post-race veterinary examination revealed the filly to be sore in the off front leg and also the near hind leg. Trainer C. Jokic was advised a veterinary clearance of soundness would be required prior to its next race start.
 
Race 6: LOCAL BOOKIES RATINGS BAND 0 - 60 HANDICAP – 1000 Metres
 
GRAZIE – Threw its head in the air when being restrained near the 800 metres. Raced wide for the for the majority of the race.
 
MACEDON FLYER – Began awkwardly and threw its head in the air, shifted out causing rider G. Kliese to jam his left foot on the barrier petition. In this incident bumped BONNEZONE.
 
BONNEZONE – Bumped on jumping.

SIGNIFICANT RULE – Slow to begin.
   
YOSHI TORANAGA – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
PROPHETESS – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
