GENERAL
As jockey G. Kliese was not riding at today’s meeting due to personal reasons he was replaced as per steward’s summary.
RACE 1: WATTO'S EARTHMOVING BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP 1400 Metres
LADY OF FORTUNE – Slow to begin.
REDAVNI – Slow to begin.
LOOK AT ROSA – Raced wide in the early and middle stages.
AGLOT – Had a tendency to lay in under pressure in the home straight.
THE COPS – Finished tailed off. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
RACE 2: TOLGA LIONS CLUB QTIS CLASS 3 HANDICAP 1200 Metres
PURPOSE 'N' VISION – Over-raced in early stages. Raced wide in the early stages when over-racing.
CALM IS POWER – Rider dropped her whip near the 200 metres.
MAKANUI – Raced wide without cover for the majority of the race.
SKOGAFOSS – When asked to explain the geldings performance today jockey W. D’Avila was of the opinion SKOGAFOSS may have got its tongue over the bit during the race. Trainer D. Piccolo was in agreeance with rider W. D’Avila and advised he would experiment with possible gear changes prior to its next start. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
RACE 3: CENTRAL TYRE SERVICE MAIDEN PLATE 1100 Metres
MOHAWK WARRIOR – Over-raced in the early stages and steadied from heels leaving the 900 metres.
KELLISA – Slow into stride. Shifted out and steadied from heels near the 800 metres.
BALLROOM BOSS – Restrained off heels near the 900 metres. Over-raced in the middle stages.
TINDER SWINDLER – Raced wide without cover for the majority of the race.
RACE 4: TOLGA MARKETS RATINGS BAND 0 - 55 HANDICAP 1000 Metres
FRAMED IT – Was declared a late scratching at 11am when there was no rider available.
WRONGFULLY WRONG – Slow to begin.
TIPPED OFF – Slow to begin.
ASSYMETRY – Slow to begin.
SNUGGLES – Began awkwardly and lost ground. Over-raced in the early stages.
BELLA BIANCA – Laid out under pressure over the concluding stages.
FIVE BULLS – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
RACE 5: BOOKIES OPEN HANDICAP 1000 Metres
VIVENZO – Fractious in the barriers prior to the start.
DREAMWOMAN – Slow to begin.
ZI WIN – Brushed its outside barrier petition on jumping.
BOOGIE WONDERLAND – Reluctant to improve to the outside of GAMBOA leaving the 100 metres.
