SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT


GENERAL
 
As Jockey M. Elliott was suffering from an injury and could not fulfill his engagements at today’s meeting, he was replaced as per the race day summary. Jockey M. Elliott was advised that a medical certificate would be required prior to any future riding engagements.
 
Permitted Overweight’s:
 
Race 1: PREFER TO DANCE (NZ) Jockey Shohei Kaya – 1 Kg (no other rider available at the weight).
Race 6: BLONDIE’S SECRET App. Ms. Lauren Guernier – 1 Kg (to allocated riding weight).
 
 
RACE 1: COMPLEX CIVIL INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICES U&C STAYERS BM65 Handicap 1830M
 
NIPPA’S NIGHTCAP – Began awkwardly and contacted the right-hand side of the barriers. Jockey Ms. Rachel Shred advised stewards on returning to scale that she had incurred an injury to her right foot when contacting the barriers on jumping. Jockey Shred was examined by the oncourse QAS and was cleared to fulfill her remaining  engagements for the remainder of the meeting.
 
AMALFI AMORE – Slow to begin. Raced wide in the early and middle stages of the race.
 
THE HONEY BADGER – Slow into stride. Raced wide in the middle stages of the race. Forced wider on the home turn when INNOVATES laid out.
 
BUSH ETIQUETTE – Raced three wide in the middle stages.
 
INNOVATES – Raced wide in the early stages. Tendency to lay out on the home turn forcing the HONEY BADGER wider on the track.
 
RACE 2: BOOKIE’S BENCHMARK 60 Handicap 1400M
 
MCLOVIN – Slow to begin. Raced fiercely in the early stages of the race. Raced wide through the middle stages of the race.
 
HEIR JORDAN – Slow to begin. Approaching the 100 metres commenced to lay out slightly until corrected by the rider.
 
LA MANO – Raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the race.
 
BOMBINATE – Laid in under pressure over the concluding stages of the race.

RACE 3: WONGABEL QUARRIES & CONCRETE BENCHMARK 50 Handicap 1200M
 
FLORAL LEGEND – Slow to begin.
 
DOWN THE KOOKA – Slow to begin.
 
RACE 4: TABLELAND HARDWARE QTIS Maiden Plate 1000M
 
MISS BOHO FASHION – Having not raced for an extended period, the filly underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was cleared to start. Slow to begin.
 
ZIG ZAG TORQUE – Slow to begin.
 
LIGHT MY LIFE – Slow to begin.
 
DRUMSHANBO – Over-raced in the early stages of the race. Laid out rounding the home turn.
 
RACE 5: SHANE MARSHALL BUILDERS Class B Handicap 1000M
 
XINGXING – Shifted out on jumping and bumped CHARM TELLER.
 
CHARM TELLER – Bumped on jumping by XINGXING which shifted out after the start.
 
YOUWANNAPEACHOFME – Laid out under pressure in the home straight.
 
RACE 6:BIGGA SKIPS BENCHMARK 55 Handicap 1000M
 
TIME POWER – Slow to begin.
 
BELLZEN – Slow to begin. Laid in under pressure over the concluding stages of the race.
 
WILLINGALE – Slow to begin. Rider reported his saddle shifted to the offside at approximately the 200 metre mark and placed him at a disadvantage over the later stages of the race.
 
BLONDIE’S SECRET – A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be lame in the offside foreleg. Trainer A MALLIFF advised stewards the mare would now be retired, however, he was also advised by stewards if circumstances change a veterinary clearance of fitness will be required prior to it starting or trialing again.
