Race 1: BARCALDINE RACE CLUB QTIS BM 60 HANDICAP - 1000 metres

ZAHA DREAM – Late scratching at 12:30pm as there was no jockey available.

LEGAL DANCER – Slipped out of the gates losing ground and jockey G Steele stated the gelding never really regained his footing on the heavy track.

BOYS SPLURGE – Was slow away.

TIMMY’S TURN – Approaching the 800m was eased off heals.

RHYTHM NATION – Approaching the 800m was eased and taken to the fence to avoid heals.

AGENT OF MERCY – Jockey McCullum pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding in that leaving the 800m he permitted his mount to shift in when insufficiently clear of DIAMONEEZE(App Q Krough) which was tightened, taken in and had to be checked losing it’s rightful running. KEV’S DESTINY (S.McGovern) was also tightened and had to ease. Jockey McCullums’ licence to ride in races was suspended from m/n 11th July 2015 up to and including the 18th July 2015 (2 Capricornia meetings.)

Race 2: BARCALDINE RACE CLUB MAIDEN PLATE - 1200 metres

ALLBAALACK – Jumped away awkwardly.

JAGUAR EDITION – Jumped outwards.

TUCKSHOP OPTIONS – Travelled wide from the 800m with cover.

HAYYLER’S AFFAIR – Jumped away awkwardly and travelled wide for the majority of the event.

Race 3: BARCALDINE RACE CLUB OPEN HANDICAP - 1200 metres

SEAGAL – Jumped away awkwardly.

NO OTHER WAY – Slow away and travelled wide in the early stages.

POWER TO EXCEED – Apprentice L Dodds could only claim 2.5kg, he was fined $150 (AR 92(12). Travelled wide in the early stages and lay in over the concluding stages of the race.

CRYSTAL MATES – Travelled wide for the majority of the event.

Race 4: BARCALDINE RACE CLUB CLASS 3 PLATE - 1300 metres


FAITH ‘N’ BELIEF – Travelled wide in the early and middle stages of the race.

SCHWEIZ – Jumped outwards making contact with another runner.

GU BRATH – Travelled wide for the majority of the event.

NO INVOLVEMENT – Raced keenly in the early stages.

SKY DISK – Lay out down the home straight.

Race 5: BARCALDINE RACE CLUB BM 55 HANDICAP - 1300 metres


CHESNEY – Travelled wide in the early stages and was eased off heels at the 250m when making a run.

FELTON PHANTOM – Raced wide for the majority of the event.

TENMOREGRAND – Slow into stride and travelled wide in the early and middle stages of the race. Dipped at the 1000m.

VICE PRESIDENT – Slow away and raced wide for the majority of the race.
