Race 1: ANDERSON BOOKMAKERS CLASS B HANDICAP - 1000 metres

CHOICE JOURNEY was a late scratching at 12:30pm as there were no jockeys available.

WICKED WOODY- Jumped outwards and made contact with ELLE STYLE.

ELLE STYLE – Jumped inward making contact with another runner losing ground then travelled wide for the majority.

MALIBU THIEF – Raced ungenerously throughout.

DREAD LACH MAGIC – Jumped away awkwardly making contact with MISS NOVELTY.

WAR DRAKE – Began awkwardly.

I’M A CLANGER – Tended to shift ground down the straight.

Race 2: IGA OPEN HANDICAP - 1000 metres

Stewards accepted trainer P. O’Toole reason for the late declaration of a jockey on his horse JACOPO. R. Hancock was the rider of JACOPO.

FOUR IRON – Knuckled at the start.

NO OTHER WAY – Made contact with JACOPO at the start then clipped heels with CRYSTAL MATES 50m after the start when shifting ground.

CRYSTAL MATES – Inclined to hang out in the straight.
Race 3: BARCY SPARKY MEMORIAL QTIS CLASS 3 PLATE - 1100 metres

HENNY’S HERO – Travelled wide in the early and middle stages.

ZAHA DREAM – Travelled wide for the majority.

SEQUELENE – Leaving the 400m, sustained an injury to the right foreleg and was eased out of the race. On veterinary inspection, the mare was humanly euthanized.

Due to the vet attending the injured horse, BANCHORY LASS was not able to be swabbed.

Race 4: BARCALDINE LEADING APPLIANCES MAIDEN PLATE - 1100 metres

There was a short delay to the start of race 4 as the vet attended to the injured horse in the previous race.

ECHELON ANNIE – Slow to begin and travelled wide for the majority.

Race 5: SANDGOANNAS OLD BOYS DOUG GESCH MEMORIAL BM 60 HANDICAP - 1600 metres

Stewards inquired into the late jockey declaration for TENMOREGRAND by trainer D. Rewald. Stewards accepted the trainer’s explanation.

NO INVOLVEMENT and ETERNO were both late scratching at 1pm as there were no jockeys available.

KEV’S DESTINY – Travelled wide for the majority.

BANNER – Unwilling to stretch out in the early stages of the race and travelled wide for the majority.

CURLEY GREY – Slow to begin.
