GENERAL

Due to a power failure at the barriers which was unable to be rectified, all races were started manually.


Race 1: ANDREW ROSS SHEARING CLASS 3 HANDICAP 1000m

THE RATTLESNAKE – Jumped awkwardly and as a result was slow to begin. Raced wide throughout.
SOOPAT – Raced wide early.
ROGER EXPRESS – Slow into stride. Raced wide throughout.
SHADOWAY DRIVE – Post race, Jockey A Butler was treated by QAS on course and was unable to fulfill his remaining rides. Jockey A Butler was advised that a medical clearance will be required prior to riding again.
CHIEF MONDO – Slow to begin. Raced wide throughout.

Race 2: BARCALDINE CLEANING SERVICES CLASS 6 PLATE 1000m

KOSOWSKI – Slow to begin. As jockey A Butler was unable to ride, he was replaced by C Bayliss.
NEW YORK WORLD – Fractious prior to jumping.
HEYINGTON STATION – Fractious prior to jumping as a result was slow to begin.

Race 3: WESTERN PRODUCE & RURAL SUPPLIES QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 1100m

BUGDEN – As jockey A Butler was unable to ride, he was replaced by B Richardson.
GOLDIE’S POWER – Shifted out on jumping bumping another runner. Laid out under pressure in the home straight.
STATE OF AWE – Bumped on jumping as a result was slow to begin. Raced wide early.
TRANSITION – Shifted in on jumping, bumped another runner and as a result was slow to begin. Raced wide throughout
JULIMAR – On returning to scale, jockey T Brummell advised that the gelding hung out throughout the race and in his opinion that the recent gear change of the removal of a near side bubble cheeker disadvantaged the gelding.


Race 4: ROONEY'S STOCKCAMP SADDLERY RATINGS BAND 0 - 50 HANDICAP 1100m

BEST SIDE – Slow to begin. Raced wide throughout.
ROSETTES – Shifted wider at the 200m to obtain clear running.
ROSAIRE – Approaching the 800m was restrained when pace slackened.
MORGAN’S SMILE – Late scratching at 2pm as there was no rider available.
PRIZED ARTIST – Raced wide throughout.
HOT CHOCOLATE – Underwent a veterinarian examination at the barriers and was cleared to start. Jumped awkwardly and as a result was slow to begin, then proceeded to tail off and took no competitive part in the race.
AUVERGNE – Shifted 3 wide at the 800m.

Race 5: RHYS PEACOCK / CLINT & RACHAEL BETTIENS OPEN HANDICAP 1200m

FREDDIE EDDIE – Bounded on jumping and as a result was slow to begin. Restrained shortly after start to shift wider for clearer running room.


Race 6: UNION HOTEL BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP 1300 Metres

VICTORY BAY – Fractious prior to start and as a result was slow to begin.
