SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT
 
As G. Colless was unable to ride at todays meeting due to illness he was replaced as per the Stewards’ summary. G. Colless was advised he must provide a medical clearance prior to his next race ride.
 
Race 1: TAB QTIS 2YO MAIDEN H’CAP – 1200M  
WALLY’S DREAM – Began awkwardly and lost ground.
 
MISHANI CONMAN – Slow to begin.
 
LEMON DUTCHESS – Laid out rounding the home turn. Shifted out under pressure over the concluding stages.
 
Following the running of this race, the track was reassessed to a Heavy 9 retrospectively.
 
Race 2: SIMON HANCOCK MEMORIAL QTIS 3YO MAIDEN H’CAP – 1100M
The start was delayed when BLONDE HUSSEY refused to load and was declared a late scratching at 12.11pm. All monies were ordered to be refunded with the following deductions to be applicable on bets placed on the winner and place-getters prior to 12.11pm:-
0 cents in the dollar for the win #8
3 cents in the dollar for the place of winner #8
3 cents in the dollar for the 2nd place #7
0 cents in the dollar for the 3rd place #4
 
Trainer B.Robinson was advised that the filly must trial to the satisfaction of stewards before being permitted to race again.
 
HAUNTED HOUSE - Trainer B.Gorman was fined the sum of $100 in that he failed to declare a rider for that runner by the prescribed time.
 
WEALTHY BACHELOR – Declared a late scratching at 10.25am due to the track downgrade.
 
ARISE MY SON – Slow to begin. Raced greenly in the early stages.
 
MOMEMORY – Raced ungenerously for a short distance leaving the 700m.
 
THE MOA FACTOR – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
MARCOOLA – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
Following the running of this race, track was downgraded to a Heavy 10 due to continuing showers.
 
Race 3: DUBIOUS @ AQUIS QTIS 3YO MAIDEN H’CAP – 1100M
OUR ARIANA – Slow to begin. Improved into a narrow run near the 700m bumping FIRST SLIP on the hindquarters.
 
ATOMIC BOMB – Jumped inwards at the start bumping DANITES which in turn shifted in bumping MONYATTA, which lost ground.
 
DANITES – Was bumped on jumping.
 
MONYATTA – Bumped on jumping and lost ground.
 
FIRST SLIP – Bumped on the hindquarters near the 700m by OUR ARIANA which improved into a narrow run. Laid out rounding the home turn.
 
ARRIVERDERCI ROMA – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
MOA’S GIRL – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
Race 4: OLMEDO @ AQUIS MAIDEN PLATE – 1650M
THINKLIKELIGHTNING – Began awkwardly.
 
WEKA PASS – Began awkwardly and shifted in bumping ESKIMO KISS on the hindquarters and lost ground. Made the 1350m turn awkwardly and had to be restrained from heels.
 
TWO SMOKIN BARRELS – Fractious in the barriers and began awkwardly. Over-raced  approaching the winning post on the first occasion.
 
ESKIMO KISS – Bumped on the hindquarters by WEKA PASS which began awkwardly and shifted and became unbalanced.
 
BELUSHI – Shifted in near the 1400m placing JIMMY NEUTRON in restricted room. Rider L.Rolls was reprimanded and advised to give more room in similar circumstances.
REDENZO BULLET – Raced wide rounding the 1350m turn.
 
BECANDLENI – Raced wide rounding the 1350m turn.
 
JIMMY NEUTRON – Had to be restrained when leaving the 1400m when racing in restricted to the inside of BELUSHI which shifted in.
 
Following the running of this race, Stewards heard from a delegation of riders advising Stewards and the club racing manager of poor visibility. Due to continuing showers and poor visibility, the remainder of the meeting was abandoned.
