GENERAL
 
The following horses were declared late scratching’s by Stewards at 11.01am due to no riders being available at the meeting:
Race 2: CRIPPS TONITE - OAKLAND RAIDER
Race 5: ABLE SEAMAN
 
Race 1: SANTOS QTIS CLASS B HANDICAP  800 Metres
 
EXCEPTIONAL RUPERT – Began awkwardly and as a result was slow to begin. Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
KAL IT MAGIC – Slow to begin. Raced wide throughout the event. Jockey R Faehr reported that KAL IT MAGIC resented the kickback from today’s racing surface.
 
ELITE BLONDE – Began awkwardly. Laid out under pressure passing the 300m. Laid in under pressure over the final 50m.
 
CINCHICATED – Blundered on jumping. Raced wide for the majority of the event.
 
SIMPLY SMASHING – Began awkwardly. Laid out under pressure in the home straight obliging Jockey S Galvin to stop riding and straighten the mare on several occasions.
 
 
Race 2: MARTINS STOCK HAULAGE / CAMRANDALE RATINGS BAND 0 - 60 HANDICAP 1000 Metres
 
Declaration of correct weight was delayed to allow Apprentice Jockey A Brennan to view the available patrol footage to ascertain whether SUPER EXCEPTIONAL had been afforded a fair start. When Apprentice Brennan and Stewards were satisfied, correct weight was declared on the judge’s semaphored numbers
 
MIAMI VICE – Laid out under pressure over the final 100m.
 
WON FOR VICKI – Bumped on jumping. Laid out under pressure in the home straight. Jockey S Galvin reported that WON FOR VICKI never travelled well throughout the event and could offer no explanation for the mares below market performance and added that the mare failed to finish the race off as he expected. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
 
BLANC DE NOIR – Slow to begin. Laid out under pressure in the home straight obliging Apprentice Jockey C Stuart to stop riding and straighten the mare on several occasions.
 
CRIPPS TONITE – Declared a late scratching by Stewards at 11.01am when there were no riders available at the meeting to ride the gelding.
 
OAKLAND RAIDER – Declared a late scratching by Stewards at 11.01am when there were no riders available at the meeting to ride the gelding.
 
FORGETABOUTIT – Began awkwardly, shifted out on jumping and bumped WON FOR VICKI.
 
SUPER EXCEPTIONAL – Began awkwardly and as a result was slow to begin. Raced wide throughout the event.
 
 
Race 3: GBA BENCHMARK 70 HANDICAP 1000 Metres
 
HELLO WORLD – Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
LUCKY FORTUNA – Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
MR EVANS – Became fractious in the barriers and harmlessly dislodged Apprentice Jockey A Brennan. Trainer K Sims was advised that a warning would be placed against the barrier manners of the gelding.
 
DANCER FOR MONEY – Raced wide throughout the event. Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
PRIVATE TENDER – Inclined to lay out under pressure in the home straight.
 
 
Race 4: NUTRIEN BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP 1200 Metres
 
RHESUS – Began awkwardly.

AUSSIE ADAPTOR – Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
TAHKIAN BUBBLES – Slow to begin.
 
FOREVER A DIAMOND – Raced wide throughout the event. Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
MLINZI – Began awkwardly and as a result was slow into stride. Shifted in onto the running rail passing the 300m to obtain clear running.
 
INVADER'S GIRL - Began awkwardly and shifted in on jumping. Laid in under pressure in the home straight. Weakened over the final 100m.
 
 
Race 5: THE BETOOTA ADVOCATE BETOOTA CUP OPEN HANDICAP 1600 Metres

DECIDUOUS – Raced wide throughout the event. Inclined to lay in over the concluding stages.
 
TURNSTAR – Slow to begin. Raced wide throughout the event.
 
INVINCIBLE RED – Laid out under pressure in the home straight.
 
GRINZINGER BISHOP (NZ) – Slow to begin.
 
EQUAL BALANCE – Began awkwardly and as a result was slow to begin. Weakened over the final 200m.
 
ABLE SEAMAN - Declared a late scratching by Stewards at 11.01am when there were no riders available at the meeting to ride the gelding.
