Race 1: BLACKALL TAMBO REGIONAL COUNCIL THANK YOU BM55 HANDICAP 1200 metres
 
Jockey Brooke Richardson was the rider of SURPRISE SELECTION and jockey John Rudd was the rider of NICKSY BOY.
 
NIGHT IN PARADISE – Eased shortly after the start.
 
HOGES – Travelled wide for much of the race.
 
AURIC GOLD – Slow to begin and travelled wide in the early stages with cover.
 
STRAWBERRY BLONDE – Galloped into restricted room approaching the 700m and had to be restrained off heels for some distance.
 
SAME OLD STORY – Eased off heels shortly after the start when the pace slackened.
 
SURPRISE SELECETION – Travelled wide for much of the race.
 
CHEEKY CHOPS – Slow to begin.
 
 
 
Race 2: BLAA BM 55 HANDICAP 12000 metres
 
SPICE TRADER – Eased off heels leaving the 700m as a front runner drifted back through the field.
 
SPARMAN – Slow to begin.
 
HARVEST PRIDE – Slow to begin.
 
PURPLE TRUMPET – Travelled wide for much of the race.
 
KEIRETSU – Travelled wide with cover for much of the race.
 
UNUSAL AUNT – Jumped on pace then drifted back through the field and finished tailed off. A post-race veterinary inspection revealed no significant abnormalities.
 
COUPE DE VILLE – Was unable to be swabbed due to safety issues with the veterinarian.
 
Race 3: BLACKALL MAGPIES CLASS 6 PLATE 1200 metres
 
ANCIENT ECHOES – Hung out rounding the home turn then tended to lay in down the home straight.
 
ARCHADE – Slow into stride and travelled wide for much of the race.
 
NICK THE SKIP – The gelding was replated on the near fore prior to racing.
 
FLASH FIBIAN – Fractious in the barriers prior to the start.
 
OLD TOWN ROAD – Slow into stride.
 
CLASSIC WIND – Bounded out of the gates losing considerable ground.
 
 
Race 4: DAYBREAK FODDER MAIDEN PLATE 1200 metres
 
MISHANI GHOST – Declared a late scratching at 10:00am on veterinary advise.
 
CANNY SKATE – Contacted at the start when an inside runner jumped outwards, then continued to be dictated outwards for several strides before crossing heels to the inside, then travelled wide for much of the race.
 
BUMPER BAR – Travelled wide with cover.
 
MOMENT TO CONQUER – Jumped outwards contacting an outside runner, then continued to shift outwards dictating CANNY SKATE to the outside of the track. Raced greenly down the home straight.
 
THE LANDING – Run about in the home straight.
 
LUCY VAN PELT – Contacted the inside running rail approaching the 500m when shying as a runner approached on the outside.
 
 
Race 5: KINGS RURAL CONTRACTING BM 65 HANDICAP 1400 metres
 
MISHANI BLOSSOM – Slow to begin.
 
STRIKE POINT – Slow to begin.
 
CHINCHINBILLA – Rounded the home turn particularly wide.
 
NECESSITAS – Travelled wide in the early stages.
 
PART THE SEA – Travelled wide for much of the race.
 
 
Race 6: BARCOO FODDER & FEED CLASS B HANDICAP 1050 metres
 
 
POLLARD – Awkward and slow to begin.
 
PARRA PARK – Hung in down the home straight proving difficult to ride out.
 
BOOM FIRE – Maneuvered wider on the track at the 450m to gain clear running and remained wide for the remainder of the race.
 
NITT WHITT – Fractious prior to the start then bounded out of the gates.
 
 
Race 7: NOEL ALLOM MEMORIAL OPEN PLATE 1050 metres
 
 
ANGELS OF FENWAY – Heavily contacted at the start and pushed onto FULLY MAXED when BETTER THAN GOLD jumped inwards. Hung out the first turn and continued to race wide from that point.
 
FULLY MAXED – Contacted at the start.
 
BETTER THAN GOLD – Jumped inwards heavily contacting ANGELS OF FENWAY.
