GENERAL
Following a track inspection prior to race one stewards identified a section of the track (Winning post to 1400m) which was significantly heavy in comparison than the remainder of the track due to recent addition of track material in that area of the track. In consultation with the club remedial works were undertaken to obtain consistent racing surface. At the completion of the remedial works stewards inspected the section of the track with all jockeys present at the time and all parties were satisfied the track was suitable for racing to commence. Due to the remedial works having to be completed the race start times were delayed approximately 1 hour.
