Race 1: Rodgers Building Enterprise Class 2 Handicap 1000 metres:
1st – OVER THE CHOICE 2nd – ALPINE GOLD 3rd – REMOS 4th – ROYAL PHYSICIAN

GET BACK – Was checked at the start when crowded for room.

ROYAL PHYSICIAN – Shifted in abruptly at the start.

REMOS – Shortly after the start had to be checked when crowded. Approaching the first turn near the 700m had to be steadied when racing tight to the inside of another runner.

Race 2: Lehmann Print Solutions Open Handicap 1000 metres:
1st – SURAH SURAH 2nd – STARLISTIC 3rd – VIA CON DIOS 4th – SAMMY JUNIOR

SURAH SURAH – Began awkwardly.

STAR TRUCE – Was slow to begin then raced three wide without cover.

VIA CON DIOS – Laid out from the 500m.

SCOT FREE – Raced greenly when placed under pressure in the straight.

Race 3: Lindsay Rural Class B Handicap 1100 metres:
1st – FORGOTTEN DESTINY 2nd – THE HAWK ETERNAL 3rd – IT’S GONNA HAPPEN 4th – FIREFRONT

GREENSKI and TULLAGRIE PRINCE were both late withdrawals at 8am when no riders were available.

THE HAWK ETERNAL – Was slow to begin.

BAGGER BLUES – Shifted out abruptly at the start.

PEEL’EM FIRST – Made the first turn near the 700m awkwardly.

Race 4: Bowen Independent Maiden Plate 1200 metres:
1st – MISHANI ALLEGRA 2nd – MOUNTAIN LANE 3rd – MISHANI DE NIRO 4th – DINKUMS DARLIN’

BOHAI BAY - The explanation tendered by trainer Mr B Butts for the late declaration of Jockey J Long was accepted.

IN RECOVERY – Began awkwardly and lost ground.

JAHVAIN – Made the first turn near the 700m awkwardly.

Race 5: Delacey Electrical Benchmark 70 Handicap 1200 metres:
1st – CANDENTE 2nd – SAN RAYMOND 3rd – BLU AXIS 4th – TUPPENY’S OPINION

CRACOW – Was standing awkwardly in the barriers and when a start was effected lost ground.

Race 6: Stones Diamond Jewellers/S&W Crane Hire Whitsunday Cup Benchmark 55 Handicap 1200 metres:
1st – GODDESS OF LUCK 2nd – SERENE PEARL 3rd – BEG PARDON 4th – UNDIAMO

CRAIGLEA and REAL YUMMY were both late withdrawals at 8am when no riders were available.

MAGGIE’S PAL – Reared as a start was effected and lost ground.

BEG PARDON – Passing the 800m had to be steadied to avoid the heels of another runner.
