GENERAL
Due to a shortage in riders at today’s meeting, rider replacements were made as per the steward’s race day summary.

RACE 1: PRESIDENT’S MAIDEN PLATE – 1000M

PUBLIC FORTUNE – Began awkwardly.

MOON LIGHT CRISTI – Began awkwardly and raced wide for the majority of the event.

WHARTON CIENNA – Raced wide for the majority of the event.

MIDDLEMOUNT MURPHY – Laid out rounding the home turn.

LET THE TIGER ROAR – Was slow to muster early speed.


RACE 2: MURWEH SHIRE COUNCIL QTIS CLASS 1 HCP – 1200M

KUNG FU KITTY – Knuckled at the start.

DING DONG – Began awkwardly.

WONGARANDA – Raced wide for the majority of the event.

TAVY NIGHTS – Was slow to muster early speed.


RACE 3: SOUTH WEST FORD BMK 55 HCP – 1400M

SKY DISK – Was slow to begin and lost ground.

KIRKHEATON – Tightened for room shortly after the start and lost ground. Raced wide for the majority of the event.

SUGAR DOLL – Raced in a wide position for the majority of the event.

JIMNA – Raced wide for the majority of the event.


RACE 4: ROSS IVERSON MEMORIAL OPEN HCP - 1400M

LOUPPY BEND – Raced three wide without cover for the majority of the event.

CRAWFISH – Began very awkwardly and lost ground. Held up for clear running rounding the home turn until leaving the 150m.


RACE 5: TONY FACEY MEMORIAL BMK 65 HCP – 1000M

BUDDY ROCKS – Knuckled at the start. Had to be restrained near the 800m when tightened for room when Star System shifted in marginally. At a subsequent enquiry apprentice J. Philpot was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances.

NOT WITHOUT SIN – Tightened for room at the start and lost ground.
