Race1: MURWEH SHIRE COUNCIL MAIDEN PLATE – 800m
 
BEAN BAG- As jockey S. Sweedman was overweight he was replaced by jockey S. Galvin. S. Sweedman was fined $100 under AR190(3).
 
BUDDIE OLLIE- Dipped shortly after the start.
 
HE’Z TITILLATING- Had difficulty obtaining clear running in the home straight.
 
Race 2: WARREGO FOODS CLASS B HANDICAP- 1200m
 
SASSY SARAH- Began very awkwardly losing considerable ground. In this incident Jockey S Sweedman sustained an injury to his left hand. Jockey Sweedman was transported to hospital for precautionary x-rays and as a result was replaced on his remaining engagements as per the Stewards Summary.
 
GOLDEN STREET- Began very awkwardly losing considerable ground.
 
Race 3: SOUTH WEST FORD BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP- 1000m
 
YOU KNOW THE ONE- Began awkwardly losing ground.
 
SHADOW PRINCE- Failed to muster early speed.
 
Race 4: WESTERN WHOLESALERS BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP- 1600m
 
No racing incidents.
 
Race 5: WESTERN RURAL SERVICES QTIS CLASS 2 PLATE 1000m
 
OAKFIELD GETTEM- Was declared a late scratching at 11:20am as there was no rider available.
 
ALL TOO SWEET- Hung out throughout.
 
MUIRON- Laid out in the home straight and shifted wider on the track.
 
MISS MOSS- Hung out rounding the home turn.
 
SPARMAN- Forced wider on the track by another runner rounding the home turn.
 
BETTY IS READY- Post race veterinary examination of the mare revealed lacerations to the hind legs consistent with being galloped on.
 
Race 6: DUNNIES MEATS (ZORRO’S) OPEN HANDICAP- 1400m
 
 
MY COUSIN BOSSY- Checked near the 900m which SNIPFIT shifted in despite the efforts of its rider.
