GENERAL
 
RACE 1: GIDDY UP CHARLEVILLE FOR 2026 QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 1100m
 
GENERAL JETBALL- Post race veterinary examination was undertaken with no abnormalities being detected. On returning to scale Jky T Banks reported his mount had blundered at the start and lost ground.
 
TRIBESMAN- Appr, Jky I Jessop reported that her mount had blundered at the start of the event and may not have been suited by the racing conditions today, and may be looking for more ground.
 
TSAR JOKER- Slow to begin.
 
BALERION DRIVE- Began awkwardly and jumped out at the start.
 
STYLISH ANGEL- Tightened between runners shortly after the start. Raced wide for the majority. Laid in the home straight for some distance before being corrected by the rider.
 
CLASS ANGEL-Jumped inward as the start was affected.
 
MRS VEE- Raced wide for the majority.
 
RACE 2: CWRC CLASS B HANDICAP 1050M
 
The start of the race was delayed due to KANTAI and MISS RAPIDE proving difficult to load. Trainer Mr W Baker was advised under the provision of AR75(1) that a Warning would be placed on both horses.
 
TRISCAY’S WAR PASS- Shifted out shortly after the start.
 
KANTAI- Tightened between runners at the start. Raced towards the rear of the field during the early stages then improved into the race from the 600m. Laid in while racing in the home straight.
 
MISS RAPIDE- Raced wide for the majority.
 
THIRTEENTH MAN- Slow to begin and then shifted in after the start and as a result KANTAI was tightened between runners. Over raced during the early stages of the event.
 
RACE 3: SOUTHWEST FORD AND NISSAN BENCHMARK 55 HANDICAP 1050M
 
No video footage was available of the start due to operator error.
 
KOBE ASCOT- Slow to begin and then tightened for room between runners shortly after the start and lost ground.
 
PHONDLE- Began awkwardly tightening KOBE ASCOT after the start.
 
TOSMIAN- Declared a late scratching at 2.41pm for refusing to load. Stewards ordered that all monies invested on TOSMIAN be refunded in full less the following deductions to apply- DREYFUS- W: 16c, Pl: 14c, 2nd Pl: SEEBURG-14c, 3rd Pl: LUNESSA- 14c. Trainer Mr B Waldron was advised pursuant to AR75(1) the horse would be required to obtain a barrier pass by trilling to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to racing again.
 
RANGI TOA- Bumped with another runner after the start. Failed to go the early speed and lost ground from the 900m point and raced at the rear of the field for the majority.
 
SEEBURG- Began awkwardly then bumped with RANGI TOA after the start was affected. Raced wide majority, when approaching the 200m was dictated out by DREYFUS and lost ground. The rider was able to correct her mount and finished the race off strongly.
 
LADY DUTTON- Shifted out while racing wide after entering the home straight.
 
DREYFUS- Began awkwardly tightening the runner to the inside. Laid in during the early stages. When approaching the 200m shifted out dictating SEEBURG out. A delay in the declaration of correct weight occurred to allow Appr Jky I Jessop an opportunity view the Stewards footage. After viewing the footage Appr Jky Jessop was of the opinion there was insufficient grounds to lodge an objection with Stewards then declaring correct weight on the numbers as semaphored by the judge/s.
 
RACE 4: COMETS REUNION COX PLATE DAY BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP 1200M
 
No footage of the start for Race 4 available due to operator error.
 
LUCKY FORCE- Raced wide for the majority.
 
LEGISLATE- Slow to begin raced at the rear of the field for the majority of the event.A pre-race veterinary examination was undertaken with no significant findings being detected. Passed fit to start at today meeting.
 
RACE 5: CATTLE CAMP HOTEL CHARLEVILLE OPEN HANDICAP 1100M
 
ROLL UP- Began awkwardly and veered out as the start was affected.
 
MISTREY EMPEROR- Began awkwardly.
 
WARRAH FLASH- Leaving the 800m the rider elected to shift out and race wide for the majority to avoid the kickback from the racing surface.
 
BORN FEARLESS- Slow to begin and raced wide for the majority of the event.
