GENERAL

The following horses were pre-race vetted due to racing at Kumbia on the 4th November 2025- Race 1- No Tucker, Race 3- DUCHESS OF ARGYLL, TIJUANA TWO STEP. Stewards permitted the following overweight variations- Race 3- and Race 5- Jky N Morton +1.0kg. Jky N Fazackerley advised Stewards that he would not be able weigh in at his allocated weight in Races 1 and 2 at todays program. Acting under the provision of AR190(3) Stewards replaced Jky Fazackerley on both rides with replacements as per the Stewards Summary.

RACE 1- HARNESS ENERGY MAIDEN PLATE 1070M

DESTINY GUNGHO- When approaching the 600m when improving into the race shifted in marginally resulting in LADY ENCRYPTEAU being dictated out onto FANCY HILTON which had to ease. Stewards inquired into the incident and after viewing the surveillance footage and hearing evidence from all parties including Ms Heinrich’s representative Jky H Richardson, Stewards acting under the provision of AR131(a) issued Appr Jky A Heinrich a Reprimand for Careless Riding.

LOVE TO BE PROUD- Began awkwardly, making contact with the barrier gates as the start was affected.

MR CASINO- Slow to begin, raced at the rear of the field for the majority of the event. Was forced to ease off heels approaching the 900m point.

GLUTTONY- Began awkwardly jumping in resulting in HINOKI WOOD being tightened for room. Laid in while racing in the home straight before being corrected by the rider.

FANCY HILTON- Approaching the 600m was forced to ease when being pressured from the inside.

HINOKI WOOD- Began awkwardly and tightened for room at the start and then had to ease off heels.

LADY ENCRYPTEAU- Bumped with NO TUCKER as the start was affected, and then at the 600m was dictated out onto FANCY HILTON with the rider of that horse having to ease.

OVERDOIT- Tightened for room soon after the start was affected and was further tightened for room at approximately the 800m point.

NO TUCKER- Stewards ordered a pre-race veterinary examination be undertaken due to the gelding racing at Kumbia on the 4th of November 2025. This examination revealed no abnormalities with the horse was fit to race at today’s meeting. Slow to begin bumping with LADY ENCRYPTEAU at the start. At the 800m shifted in marginally tightening OVERDOIT.

Race 2: LITTLE TRICKY’S CLEANING CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1400M

Due to Jky/Trainer B Newport having two horses in this event, Stewards sought the riding instructions being used for both runners. Mr Newport advised Stewards that both runners were slow away at their most recent start at Moree and he intended that the riders would be positive out of the gates and would like to be in a handy position throughout the run. Stewards noted Mr Newport’s comments.

AIN’T TELLIN- Slow to begin, then raced at the rear of the field for the majority of the event and failed to improve into the race despite the best efforts of the rider.

KANTAI- Due to Jky N Fazackerley not being able to make his allocated weight, he was subsequently replaced by Jky H Richardson. Was caught wide at the 800m and then elected to ride in a forward position. When questions about the ride Jky Richardson advised that the horse was going well and felt comfortable in running. Stewards noted Jky Richardson’s comments. Tended to hang out at the first corner approaching the 800m point.

LIPSTICK LIES- Raced wide for the majority of the event.

JAMAICAN- Leaving the 200m had to be steadied when improving off heels to obtain clear running.

ATLANTIC LACE- Saddle slipped in transit resulting in the rider not being able to test her mount out fully throughout the event. After viewing the steward’s surveillance footage Stewards observed that Ms Robbins had used the whip on 9 occasions prior to the 100m,13 occasions in totality. At a subsequent inquiry stewards heard all evidence from Appr S Robbins and her support person Jky B Newport and after viewing the surveillance footage available of the incident. Ms Robbins pleaded guilty to the offence, alleging circumstances in running and her record in relation to the rule. Stewards considered all aspects of the evidence provided to them and found Ms Robbins guilty of the offence under the rule AR132(7)(a)(ii) and suspended Appr Jky S Robbins licence to ride in races for a period of 7 days commencing at midnight on Sunday the 16th of November 2025 up to and including the 23rd of November 2025 allowing her the freedom to return to race riding on the 24th of November 2025. Ms Robbins was advised of her right to a review. Stewards reminded Appr S Robbins of her obligation under the provision of AR114(2) to report any issues to Stewards that affect the performance of the horse in running, in that, she failed to report her saddle slipping on return to scales or as soon as possible after weighing in.

Race 3: POWER PUMPING RATINGS BAND 0-55 HANDICAP 1070M

KING NEPTUNE- Began awkwardly, then raced wide for the majority.

HVARDANCE- Eased when awkwardly placed on heels.

LATE NIGHT TALKING- Due to Jky N Fazackerley being unable to make his allocated weight, he was subsequently replaced by Jky M Savva. DEHORNED UNICORN- Shifted in an bumped with HELIKEDEMPRETTY at the home turn

MOMACK- Began awkwardly.

TIJUANA TWO STEP- APPR B HARRISON- Stewards ordered that the mare undertake a pre-race veterinary examination due to racing at Kumbia on the 4th of November 2025. This examination failed to detect any abnormalities and was passed fit to race at today’s meeting. Raced wide for the majority, raced towards the rear of the field before improving into the race from the 600m point, ran on strongly over the final stages of the event. Stewards noted that on returning to scale Apprentice B Harrison had weighed in at 0.4kg under her allocated weight. Stewards were satisfied that under AR209 (2)(b) the clerk of the scales by allowing Ms Harrison the 0.5kg that correct weight could be given.

Following the running of Race 4, Stewards were provided with photographic evidence that showed Apprentice B. Harrison on the scales weighing out for this event wearing her helmet/skull cap. Stewards subsequently held an inquiry and after hearing evidence from all parties, including the Clerk of the Scales Mr D MacDonald. Stewards acting under the provision of AR 227(a) charged Apprentice Harrison with negligence to which she entered a plea of not guilty. After hearing further evidence and submissions Stewards formerly found Apprentice B Harrison guilty of the offence. Stewards advised her that the helmet or skull cap is not part of the riders’ gear when weighing in or out and reasonably believe that this incident has contributed significantly and does support the reason as to why she weighed in 0.4kg under her allocated weight and therefore could have led to a breach of AR 209(2)(b).

Stewards outlined to Ms Harrison the serious nature of the offence, with the potential for her mount to be disqualified and lose its place the Country Stampede Final which would have serious ramifications for the trainer, owner and the Jockey. In determining penalty Stewards acknowledge Ms Harrison’s inexperience in race riding, and her record. Stewards subsequently issued a monetary penalty of $500 and advised Ms Harrison of her right to a review.

MON PIERRE- Began awkwardly, then raced wide for the majority. Stewards acting under the provision of LR67(1) reprimanded Trainer Mr A Webb for his late declaration of a rider.

MEDALS- Bumped and tightened for room at the start with BLERIOT. Raced wide for the majority of the event.

HELIKEDEMPRETTY- Bumped by another runner at the home turn.

BLERIOT- Bumped with MEDALS at the start.

Race 5: CRAIG BLACK QTIS BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP 1200M

MY SYMBOL- On returning to scale Appr Jky K Barker advised Stewards the tongue tie applied to her mount had loosened significantly in running. Steward noted Appr Jky Barker’s comments. Approaching the 200m shifted out marginally resulting in HOTFOOT PERFORMER being dictated in tightening MISHANI STELLER which lost ground and momentum at that point, as a result of the incident Stewards issued a Reprimand to Appr Jky Barker for Careless riding under the provision of AR131(a).

BORN FEARLESS- Approaching the 200m point shifted in tightening MISHANI STELLER which lost ground as a result of the incident Stewards acting under the provision of AR131(a) issued a Reprimand to Jky Fazackerley for careless riding.

HORRIBLE HANK- Raced at the rear of the field for some distance then began to improve into the race from the 500m while running wide. Laid in over the concluding stages.

HOTFOOT PERFORMER- Slow to begin, then raced wide for the majority of the event. Approaching the 200m point dictated in by MY SYMBOL and as a result tightened another runner for room.
