GENERAL: Due to threatening weather conditions, Stewards in consultation with Club Officials, made the decision to conduct Race 1 earlier than scheduled and bring forward the starting times of all other events on the programme. However, following the running of Race 4 storm activity was occurring in the vicinity of the racecourse. Acting in the interests of safety Stewards then decided to abandon Race 5.

Race 1: NUTRIEN AG SOLUTIONS/RIVERINA CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1000m

MCKELLARS VOICE - Raced wide for the majority.

FULL OF SPIRIT - Raced wide rounding 800m turn. Rider reported gelding strongly resented kickback in running.

ARFA CROWN - Raced wide rounding the home turn.

Race 2: LORRAINE PASTORAL CO BENCHMARK 45 HANDICAP 1200m

MISS SIZZ - As the result of the mare being presented with an incorrect saddle cloth number Trainer Ms D. Ballard and Jockey K. Ballard were each fined One Hundred Dollars for a breach of AR 227.

ECHELON ROSE - Slow to go.

NO BODY BETTER - Slow to go.

NITRO CITY - Hung out rounding the home turn.

MISS SIZZ - Raced wide rounding the home turn.

MOODY MISS - Raced wide rounding the home turn.

Race 3: AT RICHARDSON CONTRACTING BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP 1200m

WORLD OF PAIN - Jumped inwards making contact with another runner.

BANKSY STRIKES - Slow to go. Inclined to hang out in the middle stages and rounding the home turn.

EXPLOSIVE MISSILE - Bumped by another runner on jumping.

MYOLA MILLY - Tightened for room soon after the start. Rider reported the mare resented the kick back in running.

Race 4: HACON & SONS OPEN HANDICAP 1200m

SNIPPY STRATEGIC - Was a late scratching on veterinary advice at 3.05pm after becoming fractious in the barriers. Trainer advised a veterinary clearance and a further barrier certificate is required prior to next race start.

Prior to the declaration of correct weight Stewards ordered that all monies invested on SNIPPY STRATEGEIC were to be refunded in full and that all successful bets be paid less 5 cents in the dollar for the win and less 3 cents in the dollar for the place.

KAPSET – Raced wide for the majority.

Race 5: BULL CREEK BEEF CLASS 6 PLATE 1000m

Owing to stormy weather conditions and lightning occurring Stewards abandoned this event due to safety concerns.
