D’Avila (OCTOBER STORM) and S. Wiseman (COURAGEOUS CHLOE), it was established that at that point of the race OCTOBER STORM shifted in around the heels of the tiring SNOOZE YA LOSE, resulting in the hind quarters of OCTOBER STORM making heavy contact with the shoulder of COURAGEOUS CHLOE and becoming unbalanced and shifting in further abruptly. Simultaneously, GRAZIE MILLE BELLA shifted out marginally, resulting in further tightening to COURAGEOUS CHLOE, which had to be checked. Further, passing the 200m, OCTOBER STORM was tightened between GRAZIE MILLE BELLA and SNOOZE YA LOSE, which were both continuing to race unbalanced and shifted in marginally, resulting in OCTOBER STORM being checked. COURAGEOUS CHLOE, which was following, was forced wider on the track. As stewards were unable to apportion responsibility to any individual rider, no further action was taken other than to advise all of the riders to exercise more care.
