Race 1: WEDRAT CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS QTIS TWO-YEAR-OLD HANDICAP – 950 Metres
 
RED LIGHT POWER – Slow to begin. Made the 750-metre crossing awkwardly. Raced wide rounding the home turn.
 
BOOMING BELIEF – Shifted in at the start bumping with RADIANT POWER and again approaching the 800 metres. Made the 750-metre crossing awkwardly. Raced greenly for the majority of the race.
 
RADIANT POWER – Bumped on jumping and again approaching the 800 metres.  
 
CHICA PODEROSA – Lost its off-fore plate during the race.
 
Race 2: LADBROKES QUICK MULTI BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP – 1250 Metres
 
ENABLER – Delayed the start when proved difficult to load. Trainer M. Dale was advised a warning would be placed on its barrier manners. Blundered on jumping. Over-raced in the early stages.
 
FLASHBANG – Stood flatfooted and lost considerable ground. Trainer D. Amos was advised he must obtain a further barrier certificate for the gelding prior to it racing again. Jockey W.  D’Avila was cautioned for his use of the whip when not in contention.

HOT PURSUIT – Over-raced in the early stages.
 
NO LOVE LOST – Over-raced in the early stages. Laid out under pressure in the home straight proving difficult to ride.
 
SINGULAR – Raced fiercely in the early stages being restrained off heels near the 950 metres.  
 
TRAPEZE PLEASURE – Raced wide without cover for the majority.
KING'S HALO – Stewards noted rider R. Wiggins exceeded the permitted strikes of the whip prior to the 100 metres (+ two) under AR132(7)(a)(ii); however, given the totality of the whip use no further action was taken.
 
Race 3: LOOK SHARP PAINTING & DECORATING PTY LTD BENCHMARK 75 HANDICAP – 1250 Metres
 
HARROW (IRE) – Slow to begin. Laid out under pressure in the home straight.
 
TYCOON BEAU – Slow to begin. Blundered on its own accord approaching the 1000 metres.  
 
Race 4: LIVING TURF CLASS 6 PLATE – 950 Metres
 
KYTEEMA – As the mare had not raced for an extended period it underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was cleared to start.
 
YOSEMITE FALLS – Slow to begin. Made the 750 metre crossing awkwardly. Jockey I. Teh was cautioned for her use of the whip when not in contention.  
 
AMNESTY – Began awkwardly and shifted out bumping SOWILO SIREN and lost ground.
 
SOWILO SIREN – Bumped on the hind quarters on jumping and was unbalanced.
 
SATURDAY VIBES – Slow into stride.
 
DESERT GRIT – Shifted in near the 450 metres brushing the running rail becoming unbalanced and put in an awkward stride. 
 
RESTRICTIONS – Raced wide rounding the home turn.
 
Race 5 -  AUSTHAI MAIDEN HANDICAP – 1400 Metres
 
VALUBIOUS – Trainer Ms. G. Holt was fined the sum of $100.00 for the late declaration of rider J. Murphy for the gelding when other riders were available.
 
COLONEL PARKER – Delayed the start when it underwent a veterinary examination after being    kicked by another runner behind the barriers and was cleared to start. Shifted in at the start bumping with CHANCE.
 
CHANCE – Buffeted between COLONEL PARKER which shifted in and OUTONO soon after the start. Stewards noted rider R. Wiggins exceeded the permitted strikes of the whip prior to the 100 metres (+ two) under AR132(7)(a)(ii); however, given the totality of the whip use no further action was taken.
 
SUPEEDO GONZALES – Slow into stride.
 
IMPALER – Slow into stride. Restrained from heels near the 1000 metres.
 
 
 
 
OUTONO – Bumped soon after the start. Laid out under pressure in the home straight. Stewards noted rider C. Meehan exceeded the permitted strikes of the whip prior to the 100 metres (+ one) under AR132(7)(a)(ii); however, given the totality of the whip use no further action was taken.
CALAMARIS (NZ) – Over-raced in the early stages.
 
GARINION RIGH – Laid out under pressure in the home straight.
 
THE GENERAL TALKS – Laid out under pressure in the home straight. Raced three wide without cover for the majority of the race.  
 
HARDLY FABIO – Raced four wide without cover for the majority of the race. 
 
Race 6: CORY DENT HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY BENCHMARK 55 HANDICAP – 1400 Metres
 
SUPER TWENTY THREE– Trainer S. Massingham advised stewards instructions would be issued to ride the gelding in a more forward manner today should circumstances permit. It was ridden accordingly. Over-raced in the early stages.

LOOK AT ROSA – Slow into stride.
 
HELL OF A TRIP – Slow into stride.
 
CANDLELIT – Over-raced in the early stages. Momentarily steadied leaving the 300 metres when racing in restricted room between SIR MAXIMUS and SHARMAN PETE.
 
SIR MAXIMUS – Shifted out near the 300 metres placing CANDLELIT in restricted room. Rider A. Holt was advised to show greater care when shifting ground.
 
ON THE QUIET – Over-raced in the early and middle stages.
 
SHARMAN PETE – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
SIZZLING SUN – Raced wide without cover for the majority of the race.
 
Race 7: LADBROKES BIG BETS BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP – 950 Metres
 
The start of this race was delayed due to a delay of the horses arriving at barriers.

FLYING ARTIST – Slow to begin. Shifted out under pressure near the 200 metres crowding EXOLENT CHOICE which was tiring. Jockey R. Wiggins was advised to show greater care. 
 
GEM OF SCOTS – Slow into stride.
 
CATALINA DREAMING – Bumped on jumping and again near the 550 metres.
 
MUTAFIQ – Shifted in at the start bumping CATALINA DREAMING. Shifted out near the 550 metres bumping CATALINA DREAMING.  
 
EXOLENT CHOICE – Restrained when tiring and placed in restricted room near the 200 metres  between INJADA which shifted in when bumped by BUFFET BUSTER and FLYING ARTIST which shifted out. 

BUFFET BUSTER – Shifted in under pressure near the 200 metres bumping INJADA. Jockey A. Thomson was advised to exercise more care.
 
INJADA – Bumped near the 200 metres and shifted in placing EXOLENT CHOICE in restricted room.  
 
STATESWOMAN – Raced wide rounding the home turn.
 
Race 8: NQ TURF SPECIALIST CLASS 1 & MAIDEN PLATE – 1250 Metres
 
GREY POWER– Due to aclerical error the gelding raced without blinkers which was a gear change and this was notified via multimedia and broadcast.
 
FLOURISH – Reared as the start was effected and lost ground. Trainer A. Malliff was advised a warning would be placed on the mare’s barrier manners. Steadied near the 800 metres from the heels of NORDIC INVADER.
 
SHERE KHAN – Over-raced in the early and middle stages.
 
ALABAMA MOONLIGHT – Over-raced in the early and middle stages. Steadied near the 800 metres when over-racing. Bumped passing the winning post.
 
NORDIC INVADER – Over-raced in the early and middle stages. Steadied from heels near the 800 metres when over-racing.
 
LOOMING ONE – Shifted out under pressure bumping ALABAMA MOONLIGHT passing the winning post.
 
WINEHOUSE – Lost its off-front plate during the race. Following the race the mare escaped from its tie-up stall, down to its stable barn on course. Trainer S. Cooper advised WINEHOUSE was found to have had a minor laceration to its near front leg. Trainer S. Cooper was advised he must provide a veterinary certificate of soundness prior to the mare being permitted to trial or race again.
