Stewards permitted the following overweights at today’s meeting:
 
Race 3 & Race 5- Jockey P Randall ½ kg over
 
 
Jockey P Randall was reprimanded under AR190(3) for accepting these rides when overweight.
 
 
Race 1: ARKWRIGHTS STORE QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 1200M
 
FOREVER INVINCIBLE Began awkwardly.
 
IMPENDING RAIN Raced wide in the early stages. Leaving the 200m laid in under pressure.
 
JULIMAR Slow into stride.
 
SEEBURG Began awkwardly. Raced wide early without cover.  Over-raced until obtaining cover approaching the 600m.
 
 
Race 2: OIGLE COLEMAN MEMORIAL BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP 1000 M
 
FREDDIE EDDIE Shifted out abruptly shortly after jumping before being corrected by its rider. Trainer D Rewald was advised a warning would be placed against the geldings racing manners as a result. Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
ZA HIDDEN DRAGON Raced wide throughout.
 
MISS HOFF Began awkwardly.
 
BALLYCASTLE Began awkwardly and was slow into stride.
 
 
Race 3: MAYVALE'S SHEARER'S MUG CLASS B HANDICAP 1000 M
 
KOOKY KANGAROO Raced wide early without cover.
 
DUCHESS TILLY Began awkwardly, shortly after jumping was contacted by another runner.
 
RUBY DIAMOND Slow into stride. Leaving the 600m was taken wider by another runner.
 
MR DEMOLITION Raced wide for the majority. Leaving the 600m hung out taking another runner wider on the track. Stewards reminded App E Pomfrett of her obligations pursuant to AR131(a).
 
THE SABBATH Began awkwardly contacting another runner shortly after jumping.
 
 
Race 4: WOODY'S WESTERN MAIL SERVICES CUNNAMULLA CUP OPEN HANDICAP 1400 M
 
FAB'S COWBOY Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed fit to start.
 
SACRED STREAM (NZ) Tired over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
 
PESHWA Brushed by another runner shortly after the start.
 
HERE COMES LENNI (NZ) Slow to begin.
 
LENROY Hung out shortly after the start brushing another runner before being corrected by its rider. Raced wide until approaching the 800m.
 
 
Race 5: BUSTER & LORRAINE SCHMIDT MEMORIAL BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP
1400 M
 
KAZZA'S JET Slow into stride.
 
IKIGAI STAR Raced wide in the early stages.
 
AZOUSTIC Began awkwardly. Hung in under pressure approaching the 100m.
 
RUPELTIER Slow to begin.
 
D'ORO HEART Began awkwardly and made contact with the barrier petition resulting in its rider becoming unbalanced. A post veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
 
FUNKY FARM Raced wide in the early stages.
