RACE 1: AJ & AD OLIVE MEMORIAL QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 900M
 
GEE EYE WHY – Bumped on jumping by WHATTA WHITT. Shortly after the start was bumped heavily by SAINT ANNS which stepped outwards while racing ungenerously.
 
I’M NUMBER ONE – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after rearing in the tie up-stalls which revealed an insignificant abrasion and was cleared to start. Raced keenly in the early stages. Raced wide throughout.
 
WHATTA WHITT – Fractious prior to the start. Blundered on jumping. Bumped at the start by SAINT ANNS and in turn bumped GEE EYE WHY. Impeded shortly after the start by SAINT ANNS which was racing ungenerously and shifted outwards.
 
PARTY ISLAND – Shortly after the start shifted inwards and then stepped outwards after being corrected placing JACKYLLS DANSA in restricted room.
 
SAINT ANNS – Shifted outwards on jumping bumping WHATTA WHITT.  Shortly after the start shifted outwards while racing ungenerously impeding WHATTA WHITT and bumped heavily with GEE EYE WHY.
 
TEKOPO – Began awkwardly and raced wide throughout.
 
EMERALD JOY – Raced wide early.
 
JACKYLLS DANSA – Raced in restricted room shortly after the start, when PARTY ISLAND stepped out after being corrected, and had to momentarily eased. Over raced in the early stages. Apprentice S Bailey was reminded of her obligation to ensure she does not persist with her whip when clearly out of contention.
 
VIKING TREASURE – Raced keenly in the early stages. Raced wide throughout.
 
 
RACE 2: AJ & AD OLIVE MEMORIAL QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 900M
 
COCHRANE – Raced wide in the early stages. When questioned in relation to the performance jockey C McIver stated that his mount travelled well in the early stages however raced one paced throughout. He further added that the heavy weight impost today may have proved detrimental to the gelding’s chances.
 
KING JESTER – Began awkwardly and bumped THE SQUIRE.
 
WRITTLE – Raced wide throughout. Inclined to lay inwards under pressure in the home straight.
 
BUNGARRIBEE LAD – Raced wide throughout. Inclined to lay inwards under pressure in the home straight.
 
THE SQUIRE – Began awkwardly and bumped KING JESTER. Inclined to lay out under pressure in the home straight.
 
CLOCKS TICKING – Raced wide in the early and middle stages. A post-race veterinary examination failed to revealed the gelding to have a poor post-race recovery.
 
 
RACE 3: TOTAL RURAL SUPPLIES RATINGS BAND 0 - 55 HANDICAP 900M
 
The declaration of correct weight was delayed to allow apprentice G Semmens the rider of LULO ROSE and jockey C McIver the rider of STELLA BOO to view the photo finish picture. After doing so both were satisfied with the judges numbers, thus correct weight was declared.
 
DISCOVERED GOLD – Raced wide throughout. Laid inwards when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
LULO ROSE – Inclined to lay inwards when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
ARACELI – Began awkwardly and blundered shortly after the start. Raced keenly in the early stages. Raced wide throughout. Laid inwards when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
LADY CONSORT – Began awkwardly. Raced keenly in the early stages. Raced wide throughout. Inclined to lay inwards when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
 
RACE 4: CL & WM HICKEY BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP 1200M
 
The declaration of correct weight was delayed to allow the connections of SILENT ANGEL to view the photo finish picture. After doing so both were satisfied with the judges numbers, thus correct weight was declared.
 
IMPERIOONESS – Began awkwardly. Raced wide throughout. Laid inwards when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
SMIKO – A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities. Trainer R Kirwin was advised that a warning would be placed on the geldings record for a poor performance.  
 
CASH ARTIST – Slow to begin.
 
NOBLE MASTER (NZ) – Raced wide throughout. Apprentice A Meissner was reminded ofher obligation to ensure she does not persist with her whip when clearly out of contention.
 
MARTINI MOMENT – Raced wide in the early stages. Laid inwards when placed under pressure in the home straight. When questioned in relation to the seemingly improved performance trainer B Trimble stated that he has recently made changes to the training regime by increasing the work rate of the mare and further added that he had also made recent adjustments to the feeding regime of MARTINI MOMENT.
 
CRAFTY GODDESS – Raced wide in the early stages.
 
SILENT ANGEL – Began awkwardly. Laid inwards when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
LOVE MY LOUIS – Began awkwardly. Raced wide throughout.
 
I’M FAMOUS – Began awkwardly.
 
 
RACE 5: DOUG OLIVE MEMORIAL DINGO CUP BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP 1200M
 
DULCET (NZ) – Raced wide throughout.
 
CINDERELLA MAN – Raced wide throughout. Shifted wider on the track near the 600m to improve.
 
READY TO PARDON – Began awkwardly and bumped heavily with OUTBACK STEP.
 
BRANDS – Slow to begin. Raced wide throughout.
 
ACEDROD – Raced wide in the early stages. Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. Inclined to lay inwards when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
MIMMY’S SECRET – Shifted wider near the 400m in an attempt to improve.
 
OUTBACK STEP – Fractious prior to the start. Began very awkwardly and bumped heavily with READY TO PARDON and slow into stride as a result. Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. Shifted wider near the 400m in an attempt to improve.
 
BELLE’S BOY – Began awkwardly.
