GENERAL
Due to current Covid restrictions, Stewards permitted the following weight variations:
Race 2: FLORAL OASIS – R. Maloney +1kg
Race 4: AT WITZ END – R. Maloney +1/2 kg
 
 
 
Race 1: MOET & CHANDON BENCHMARK 90 Handicap 2200 metres
 
HONORABLE SPIRIT – App. J. Lloyd was reprimanded under AR131(a) when allowing HONORABLE SPIRIT to shift in when not fully clear approaching the winning post for the first time.

IRISH SEQUEL (IRE) – Crowded and inconvenienced approaching the winning post first time.
 
NEMINGAH (NZ) – Carried inwards slightly approaching the winning post first time. 
 
 
Race 2: LEXUS 2YO Plate (QTISx bonus applicable) 1110 metres
 
FLORAL OASIS - Trainer K. Fogden was fined $200 pursuant to AR227(a) for an incorrect gear notification.
 
EXO LADY – Delayed the start. The filly underwent a pre-race veterinary inspection after being fractious in the barriers and was cleared to start. Laid out over the final 200m.
 
MISHANI MENTAL – Began awkwardly and raced three wide without cover throughout. Commenced to pull hard shortly after passing the 800m and had to be eased off the heels of SPANISH ANGELS which shifted in.
 
PRIMED FOR VICTORY – Raced keenly in the early stages and got its head up whilst over racing near the 700m.
 
HONKYTONK DIVA – Raced in restricted room for a short distance near the 700m when racing between MISHANI MENTAL and PRIMED FOR VICTORY. Raced three wide with cover throughout.   
 
Race 3: SPRINGSOCIAL.COM.AU BENCHMARK 72 Handicap 1050 metres
 
VALIANT – Jumped away awkwardly. Rider J. Bayliss reported on return to scale that the bit had shifted and was in an awkward position in the horses’ mouth.
 
PLATINUM EUROS – Slow to begin. Eased back on jumping to obtain a position closer to the rail.
 
SOUBRETTE – Slow into stride. Over-raced between the 700m and 600m.
 
ASHZAYA – Shortly after the start lost ground after laying inwards and becoming awkwardly placed on the heels of ALREADY BLESSED.
 
Race 4: OSCAR OSCAR SALONS OPEN Handicap 1350 metres
 
LIGULATE – Shifted outwards in the early stages of the straight to obtain clear running.
 
CLOAK – Raced keenly in the middle stages.
 
CATESBY - Lost off fore plate in running.
 
Following the running of this race the track was upgraded to a Good 4.
 
Race 5: CANADIAN CLUB QTIS Three-Year-Old Colts and Geldings Handicap 1200 metres
 
TIGER HEART – Held up for clear running from the 400m to the 250m. Lost the off hind plate in running.
 
BAD EDUCATION – Over-raced in the early stages. Had a tendency to hang out from the 400m.
 
DEVASTATING – The colt turned its head to the side as the start was effected, and therefore was slow to begin. Had to be eased outwards away from the heels of PRIME ASSET at the 800m.
 
GENERAL WOLFFE – Steadied off the heels of TIGER HEART approaching the 250m.  
 
PRIME ASSET – Delayed the start when having to be resaddled after arriving at the barriers.  
 
Race 6: NOVA 106.9 QTIS Three-Year-Old Fillies Handicap 1200 metres
 
BERDINI’S GIRL – Bumped on the hindquarters becoming unbalanced near 350 metres and again near the 300 metres. Sustained a laceration to the off fore coronet.
 
PUTONTHEREDLIGHT – Jumped away awkwardly. Held up for clear running rounding the home turn shifting out and bumping BERDINI’S GIRL on the hindquarters, and again bumping BERDINI’S GIRL on the hindquarters near the 300m.
 
SINGLE DIZIRE – A post race veterinary examination revealed the filly to be short striding in both fore legs. Co-trainer T. Sears was informed that SINGLE DIZIRE will require a veterinary certificate prior to racing again.
 
Race 7: TAB VENUE MODE Class 6 Plate 1615 metres
 
FOREIGN TERRITORY (NZ) – Raced three wide without cover for the majority of the race.  
 
DEEP SCEIVA – Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. Unable to improve from the 550m until the 350m. 
 
DESTINY’S OWN – Found to be lame in its near fore with pain on fetlock flexion. Trainer B. Andrew was informed that the gelding will require a veterinary certificate prior to racing again.
 
 
Race 8: HEARTFIT BENCHMARK 70 Handicap 1350 metres
 
GLAMOUR FOX – Bumped with MOONAN ME near the 50m.
 
KEEP ON LOVING YOU – Raced three wide with cover.
 
PRINNY’S SUCCESS – Slow to begin.
 
MOONAN ME – Raced three wide without cover.
 
 
Race 9: XXXX DRY BENCHMARK 78 Handicap 1350 metres
 
SAFADO – Carried inwards at the 1100m. Held up in the early part of the straight.
 
REBEL SALUTE – Had a tendency to lay in in the straight.
 
RAGING POLE – Bumped on jumping with DARING BELLE. Crowded near the 1100m to the inside of SAFADO. SAFADO was then carried in inwards by DARK EURO, after DARK EURO shifted in abruptly after being brushed by NEUTRON which was racing keenly when being steadied. The gelding put in a couple of awkward strides close to the line whereby App. L. Kilner eased the gelding down over the concluding stages. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
 
XANTHUS – Raced three wide with no cover.
 
NEUTRON – Raced three wide with cover.
 
DARING BELLE – Bumped on jumping with RAGING POLE.
 
Race 10: SQS HAULAGE Class 6 Handicap 1200 metres
 
BOOM SPENDER – Jumped away awkwardly. Proved difficult to settle when racing in the lead between the 1100m and 500m.
 
BETTER THAN GROOVY – Slow into stride.
