THE POWER OF ONE – Over-raced in the early stages.
 
RAMOKA – Began awkwardly. Raced greenly in the early and middle stages and over-raced badly. Brushed by CHAMPAGNE POP near the 200m.
 
AUREUM – Raced three wide without cover throughout.
 
SERENE AFFAIR – Over-raced when leading in the early stages.
 
CHAMPAGNE POP – Slow to begin. Shifted out near the 200m and contacted RAMOKA.

YISKA – Shifted out under pressure over the concluding stages.
 
BOHEMIAN DAISY – Over-raced in the early stages.
 
BULSARA- Bumped at the start. Steadied off the heels of TRES REDOUTE near the 800m.
 
POSSOVER  - Slow to begin.
 
TRES REDOUTE – Bumped at the start.
 
YANKEE BLOSSOM – Began awkwardly and shifted in and bumped TRES REDOUTE and then shifted out and bumped BULSARA.
 
Race 3: THE GREAT NORTHERN ZERO QTIS Three-Years-Old Maiden Plate 1350 metres
 
I KNOW DAT – Over-raced badly in the early stages.
 
REALAIDE – Jumped awkwardly. Steadied off the heels I KNOW DAT near the 900m.
 
SARDEGNA – Restrained in the early stages from the wide barrier. Over-raced in the early stages. Raced three wide with cover throughout.
 
IMMEDIATE RESPONSE – Apprentice W Peel reported that her saddle slipped soon after the start, placing her a disadvantage for the remainder of the race.
 
SOUNDS DIVINE – Jumped awkwardly. Raced three wide without cover throughout.
 
VANCITY – Hampered at the start.
 
Race 4: IGT AUSTRALIA Class 3 Handicap 1050 metres
 
BLUE KENTUCKY MOON – Inclined to lay out under pressure in the early stages in the home straight.
 
HOT IN PARIS – Jumped awkwardly and lost ground.
 
ZELIFY – Hampered at the start.
 
BAIYKA – Raced three wide in the early stages.
 
TITRATION – Slow to begin. Cast an off-hind plate during the race.
 
Race 5: KENO LET'S PLAY Class 2 Plate 1350 metres
 
FLYBRIDGE – Slow to begin Was inclined to lay in throughout the race.
 
POINT THE WAGON – Tightened for room at the 1200m by SIZZLING DIAMOND which shifted in away from BALMAURICE which also shifted in.
 
PETUNIA – Hampered at the start.
 
SIZZLING BABE – Shifted in away from BALMAURICE near the 1200m and had to be steadied.  Raced three wide throughout the event.
 
BALMAURICE – Shifted in near the 1200m despite the efforts of its rider, following this began to over-race for some distance.
 
GHOSTWRITER – Began awkwardly.
 
SCISSORHANDS – Slow to begin. Tightened near the 1200m when over-racing. Over-raced in the early stages. Raced three wide without cover throughout.
 
Race 6: XXXX Class 1 Plate 2060 metres
 
FIORENTE STAR – Began awkwardly and shifted in and bumped STYLE SEEKER. Over-raced in the early stages. Moved forward three wide from the 900m. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding which weakened in the home straight revealed no significant findings.
 
STYLE SEEKER – Hampered at the start.
 
SUMMIT SPECIAL (NZ) – Raced three wide in the early stages.
 
LYNDALL – Ridden forward three wide from the 1300m.
 
Race 7: TAB VENUE MODE BM70 Handicap 1650 metres
 
FIREBOX – Hampered at the start when bumped by RHYME TIME.
 
THIS IS SO – Hampered at the start.
 
SMOKEY DIAMOND – Raced three wide with throughout. Inclined to lay in under pressure in the home straight.
 
BETTER THAN GROOVY – Raced three wide in the early and middle stages and carried wider near the 900m by FIREBOX. Subsequently, raced four wide for the remainder.
