Stewards permitted the following overweight:
Race 1: 5 MAGRITTE – C. Bayliss +0.5kg (55kg)
 
MR BUSTER (IRE) (Race 6) carried a 60.5kg weight penalty after winning Race 4 at Eagle Farm on Wednesday 22 October 2025.
 
RACE 1: ROAD TO MAGIC MILLIONS BOOK NOW QTIS TWO-YEAR-OLD PLATE     1050 M
 
The start of this race was delayed by approximately three (3) minutes due to LADY OF FIVE undergoing a pre-race veterinary examination after requiring farrier attention to the near fore plate and was subsequently cleared to start.

ALTO LUNA – Began awkwardly. After the running of this race, it was noted the gelding had lost its near fore plate.
 
LADY OF FIVE – Began awkwardly.
 
MAGRITTE – Slow to begin. Laid in under pressure over the concluding stages.
 
MISHANI RAINFIRE – Passing the 800m, raced in restricted room for a short distance to the inside of LADY OF FIVE which shifted in and away from I AM THAT GIRL, which improved to that runners’ outside. Raced greenly in the middle stages.
 
PIROUETTE GIRL – Blundered at the start. Passing the 600m, momentarily inconvenienced when racing in restricted room to the inside of ALTO LUNA which shifted in before being corrected.
 
REMEMBRALL – Had difficulty obtaining clear running on entering the home straight.
 
After the running of Race 1, A. Thompson rider of LADY OF FIVE was stood down by the club doctor after injuring his left foot in the barriers. Jockey A. Thompson was advised he would require medical clearance prior to resuming riding.

RACE 2: LADBROKES COX PLATE RACEDAY BENCHMARK 70 HANDICAP       1200 M

XPRESSO – Began awkwardly.
 
ENCUBIERTO – Began awkwardly. When asked to comment on the performance, Jockey C. Graham stated the gelding felt uncomfortable in its action when placed under pressure. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be stepping short in the near fore. Trainer S. Dwyer was advised ENCUBIERTO would require veterinary clearance prior to resuming.
 
FIRST MISSION – Laid in under pressure in the home straight. Passing the 100m, had to be corrected.
 
THUNDERING SOUL – Over raced in the middle stages when being restrained to obtain a position with cover. Passing the 200m, was hampered and carried wider by ENCUBIERTO which shifted out under riding.
 
GREY EFFECTS – Laid in under pressure over the concluding stages.
 
SYNERGY IN MOTION – Laid in under pressure over the final 100m. When asked to comment on the performance, Apprentice E. Lang stated the gelding raced flat and was disappointing. Trainer A. Campton advised SYNERGY IN MOTION would now be sent for a freshen up. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
 
MORE FOR READY – Restrained from the wide barrier to obtain a position nearer the rail.
 
RACE 3: LADBROKES WINX 2018 QTIS THREE-YEAR-OLD HANDICAP       1200 M
 
HA'PENNY HATCH (NZ) – Began awkwardly. Over raced in the middle stages. Approaching the 600m, shifted out carrying DESTINYS SUMMIT wider. Laid in under pressure over the concluding stages.
 
DESTINYS SUMMIT – Began awkwardly and bumped with LITTLE FELLA. Carried wider approaching the 600m. Raced greenly under pressure in the home straight. After the running of this race, it was noted the gelding had lost its off-hind plate.
 
ROYAL MOVER – Raced greenly when placed under pressure in the home straight. 
 
MEET GEORGE – Began awkwardly.
 
YUNA IS PIERATA – When asked to comment on the performance, Jockey A. Mallyon stated his mount failed to respond to his riding when placed under pressure and was disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Co-Trainer M. Sears was advised YUNA IS PIERATA would be required to officially trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to resuming racing. M. Sears advised she intends to remove the blinkers prior to the gelding’s next start.
 
LITTLE FELLA – Bumped at the start. Had difficulty obtaining clear running on entering the home straight and was obliged to shift in to improve. 
 
MAKING NEWS – Held up for clear running on entering the home straight.
 
ENCRYPTED FEELING – Over raced in the early stages. Approaching the 800m, had to be restrained after improving onto heels.
 
RACE 4: LADBROKES LYS GRACIEUX 2019 FILLIES AND MARES CLASS 6 HANDICAP  1350 M

IMPOSANT – Slow to begin. On entering the home straight, was obliged to alter course and shift in to obtain clear running. Laid out under pressure in the home straight.  
 
PHENOM – Began awkwardly and shifted out. Over raced in the middle stages.
 
FREELAND – Began awkwardly.
 
LITTLE JEANIE (NZ) – Slow into stride. Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
THINKHARDANDFAST – On return to scale Jockey A. Jones stated that rather than being caught wide, she allowed her mount to stride to obtain a forward position.
 
RACE 5: LADBROKES SIR DRAGONET 2020 OPEN HANDICAP         1600 M

DIABLO BOLT underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after injuring itself enroute to the course was subsequently declared a late scratching on veterinary advice at 1:39pm due to swelling in the right hind leg. Stable representative T. Pollard was advised the gelding would require veterinary clearance prior to resuming racing.
 
CABOCHE (NZ) – Blundered at the start. In the early stages of the home straight, laid in.
 
GALIFIANAKIS (IRE) – Bumped at the start. Over raced in the early stages when being restrained to obtain a position at the rear of the field.  Approaching the 200m, obliged to alter course and shift out to improve.
 
VICTORY WIN – Laid in under pressure over the concluding stages and approaching the winning post, brushed with FREE CARRY.
 
YET HE MOVES – Slow to begin.
 
CUNNAMULLA FELLA – Laid out under pressure in the home straight.
 
FREE CARRY – Laid out over the concluding stages and approaching the winning post, shifted out brushing VICTORY WIN. Apprentice E. Lang was fined $100 pursuant to AR132(6)(a) for using her whip in an action that was above shoulder height. 
 
LUDOVISI – Began awkwardly, shifted in and bumped GALIFIANAKIS (IRE). Had difficult riding her mount out to the finish after becoming awkwardly placed at the heels of VICTORY WIN approaching the winning post.
 
RACE 6: LADBROKES STATE OF REST 2021 BENCHMARK 70 HANDICAP       2000 M

CAVALRY MAN – Trainer L. Gough was fined $200 pursuant to LR 67(1) for failing to declare a rider by the prescribed time. Raced wide throughout. Laid out over the concluding stages. Approaching the winning post, became awkwardly placed on the heels of MR BUSTER (IRE).
 
PEPPERDINE – Began awkwardly. Over raced in the early stages. Laid in under pressure over the concluding stages.
 
UNCOMMON VALOUR – A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery.
 
KALUAKOI – On entering the home straight, had to be checked after becoming awkwardly placed on the heels of SPILL THE SECRET. Continued to be held up to a point passing the 200m, before shifting in across heels in to improve into clear running.
 
HOLY FLASH – Slow to begin. Passing the 800m, was carried wider and raced three wide for the remainder of the event.
 
INDY ROSE WARRIOR (NZ) – When asked to comment on the performance, Jockey R. Hutchings stated the mare may not have appreciated todays firm racing surface. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
 
ICHIBAN – Connections advised a change of tactics, to settle further forward if circumstances permit. Settled midfield.
 
MANNERHEIM – Slow to begin. Had difficulty obtaining clear running on entering the home straight and approaching the 100m when attempting to improve into a run between SPILL THE SECRET and PEPPERDINE, was disappointed resulting in MANNERHEIM losing momentum.
 
MR BUSTER (IRE) – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination due to the gelding having raced at Eagle Farm on 22 October 2025 and was subsequently cleared to start. Over raced in middle stages. Passing the 800m, shifted out carrying HOLY FLASH wider.
 
LET FLY – Raced wide in the early stages before being allowed to stride to obtain a forward position.
 
SPILL THE SECRET – Over raced in the early stages. Passing 1100m shifted out, and was allowed to stride forward to take up a leading position passing the 900m.
 
COUNTER (GB) – Had difficulty obtaining clear running on entering the home straight. Passing the 100m, laid in and became awkwardly placed at the heels of HOLY FLASH and was unable to be tested at any stage of the home straight. Jockey D. Moor reported his mount laid in throughout.
 
RACE 7: LADBROKES ANAMOE 2022 NO METRO WINS HANDICAP        1200 M
 
LOST HIS BEANS – Slow to begin.
 
BOLD COMIC – Slow to begin.
 
SHOT OF WHISKEY (NZ) – Began awkwardly and bumped with WRITTEN FAME.
 
FIGHTING IDOL – Checked passing the 1100m when tightened for room. Apprentice C. Vitler rider of WRITTEN FAME pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding pursuant to AR 131(a) in that passing the 1100m, he permitted his mount to shift in when insufficiently clear of BOLD COMIC (App C. Collis) carrying that runner into FIGHTING IDOL (D. Smith), who was checked and carried in onto KINROSS LANE (A. Jones) who was hampered having its hindquarters turned.  Apprentice C. Vitler’s license to ride in races was suspended for a period of eight (8) days, commencing midnight Saturday 1 November 2025, concluding midnight Saturday 8 November 2025. Passing the 100m was hampered and had to shift out to avoid the heels of JACK BE LUCKY which shifted out under pressure. Apprentice J. Franklin, rider of JACK BE LUCKY, was severely reprimanded pursuant to AR 131(a).
 
WRITTEN FAME – Began awkwardly and bumped with SHOT OF WHISKEY (NZ). Raced wide throughout.
 
KINROSS LANE – Slow into stride.  Had its hindquarters turned when racing in restricted room passing the 1100m. Jockey A. Jones reported her mount may not have appreciated today’s firm track conditions. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
 
 
 
RACE 8: LADBROKES ROMANTIC WARRIOR 2023 COLTS, GELDINGS & ENTIRES CLASS 6 HANDICAP         1350 M
 
WARBY – Began awkwardly and lost ground.
 
CORFE CASTLE – Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
SHOW SOME DECORUM – Raced wide for the majority.
 
THE LITTLE PUMPER – Over raced in the middle stages.
 
TREPORTI – Over raced in the early stages.
 
HEMAN – Slow into stride. Checked approaching the winning post when CORFE CASTLE (App J. Franklin) shifted in when insufficiently clear. Apprentice J. Franklin rider of CORFE CASTLE pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding pursuant to AR 131(a) in that approaching the winning post, he permitted his mount to shift in under riding when insufficiently clear resulting in HEMAN (App T. Fenlon) having to check. Apprentice J. Franklin’s license to ride in races was suspended for a period of six (6) days, commencing midnight Tuesday 28 October 2025, concluding midnight Tuesday 4 November 2025. A post-race veterinary examination revealed mild heat stress.
 
BETTER BE NORDY – Jockey D. Moor reported it was his intention to be closer in the run however failed to muster the speed to do so.
 
SENESCHAL (IRE) – Blundered at the start and lost ground.
 
SURFERS ROYALE – Began awkwardly.
 
RACE 9: LADBROKES VIA SISTINA 2024 BENCHMARK 78 HANDICAP       1600 M

The start of this race was delayed by approximately two (2) minutes due to EXPRESS PAYMENT undergoing a pre-race veterinary examination after becoming fractious in the barriers and was subsequently cleared to start.  Trainer R Heathcote was advised a warning would be placed on the record of EXPRESS PAYMENT for its barrier manners.
 
Following the running of this event Jockey J Bayless was examined by the club Doctor and was cleared to fulfil his remaining engagement.
 
DREAM HOUR – Slow to begin.
 
EXPRESS PAYMENT– Began awkwardly. Passing the 200m, had to be steadied to avoid heels. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery.
 
CHAMIERRO – Laid out under pressure in the home straight.
 
PERFECT PLAY (GB) – Carried out in the early part of the home straight and passing the 150m, was hampered.
 
OCEAN ZAR – Passing the 1100m, had to be checked to avoid the heels of PERFECT PLAY (GB) who was carried in by ROCK HARD LOVE who was carried in by CHAMIERRO which shifted in when insufficiently clear. Jockey J. Huxtable rider of CHAMIERRO was found guilty of a charge of careless riding pursuant to AR 131(a) in that passing the 1100m, he permitted his mount to shift in when insufficiently clear of  ROCK HARD LOVE and as a result had been carried into PERFECT PLAY (GB) and also carried into OCEAN ZAR which had to be checked to avoid the heels of PERFECT PLAY (GB). Jockey J. Huxtable’s license to ride in races was suspended for a period of ten (10) days, commencing midnight Monday 3 November, concluding midnight 13 November 2025. Had to be steadied to avoid heels passing the 200m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a small abrasion to its near fore fetlock.
 
NOBLE CONQUEROR – Slow to begin. Over raced in the middle stages.
 
ROCK HARD LOVE – Jockey D. Moor reported it was not his intention to settle that far forward however was caught wide.
 
RHUVAAL – Near the 1100m, over raced after improving onto heels. Passing the 200m, had to be steadied to avoid the heels. An inquiry into the reasons why RHUVAAL had to be checked was adjourned to a date to be determined as Jockey J. Bayliss had left the course.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

 
RACE 10: LADBROKES MEGA MULTI OPEN HANDICAP         1200 M

HE'S HEAVEN – Passing the 800m, shifted out abruptly after becoming awkwardly placed on the heels of ALL THAT PIZZAZZ while overracing.
 
NAVYONTHEHIGHWAY– Momentarily inconvenienced passing the 300m by HATCHET which shifted out marginally. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. After the race it was noted, the mare had lost its near fore plate in running.  Trainers’ representative, Mr. N Boyle was asked to report back on the condition of Mare in the subsequent days
 
BAND OF BROTHERS – Began awkwardly and bumped with RUSSIAN ALLIANCE.
 
EPIC PROPORTIONS – Connections advised a change of tactics, to settle further forward if circumstances permit. Ridden accordingly. After the running of this race, it was noted the gelding had lost its off fore plate.
 
RUSSIAN ALLIANCE – Bumped with BAND OF BROTHERS at the start.
 
OUR MAGNUS – Became awkwardly placed on heels passing the 100m while racing in restricted room between ALL THAT PIZZAZZ and HE’S HEAVEN, both who shifted ground marginally.
