Race 1: EDWARD STREET BRISBANE Class 3 Plate 1800 metres
 
 
DIVINE ELEVEN – Raced keenly in the middle stages.
 
SOKUDO – Held up for a short distance in the early part of the straight.
 
ZAWADI (NZ) – Raced keenly in the early stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
 
RELUCENT (NZ) – Raced three wide without cover throughout. Shifted out abruptly near the 200m A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the off fore. Trainer C Waller’s representative was advised RELUCENT (NZ) would require a Veterinary clearance prior to racing or trialling again.
 
YOUNGBLOOD – Raced keenly middle stages and raced in restricted room to the inside of RELUCENT (NZ) between the 1400m and the 1000m. Jockey L Dittman was advised to afford runners to his inside more room in future.
 
ASWAAT – Laid out final 200m.
 
BLACKBOOTS- Hung inwards in the straight.
 
 
 
Race 2: 97.3FM QTIS Three-Year-Old Handicap 1600 metres
 
FINSCEAL – Slow into stride. Jockey J Byrne reported that with the weight and the slow early tempo was unable to sprint when the pace went on from 600m.
 
SERGEANT SILVA - Raced keenly early stages. Momentarily held up approaching the 350m.
 
HABIB – Bumped near the 400m.
 
RED WAVE – Steadied off the heels oh Habib near the 500m. Bumped HABIB near the 400m. Laid inwards near the 200m making contact with ROCKIN’ ARTIE.
 
ROCKIN' ARTIE – Bumped near the 200m.
 
DUCHESS ROTHESAY – Raced keenly early stages. Laid outwards under pressure in the straight.
 
 
 
Race 3: IMPRESSU PRINT GROUP BENCHMARK 80 Handicap 1600 metres
 
BAANONE (NZ) – Slow into stride when bumped on jumping. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be not striding freely in front and exhibiting signs of poor post-race recovery.
 
FOREIGN TERRITORY (NZ) – Raced three wide in the early stages.
 
SEEINGISBELIEVING – Apprentice Jaden Lloyd was fined $400 under AR 132(7)(a)(ii) for using his whip on 6 occasions, 1 more than permitted, prior to the 100m.
 
NYAMI (NZ) – Jumped inwards bumping TOP ME UP AGAIN onto BAANONE. Raced keenly early.
 
TOP ME UP AGAIN (NZ) – Bumped on jumping.
 
ADELASE – Raced keenly in the early stages.
 
Race 4: TRC LIFE MEMBERS BENCHMARK 78 Handicap 2200 metres
 
WARP SPEED – Jumped away awkwardly.
 
NAVY CROSS – Jumped away awkwardly. Raced keenly early. When questioned regarding the run of the gelding stated that after over racing in the early stages it failed to run on when placed under pressure and disappointed. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding was exhibiting a poor post recovery and a mild case of the thumps.
 
TOP ORDER – Slow to begin.
 
STEEL PIER – Jumped awkwardly inwards.
 
 
Race 5: SKY RACING Class 6 Handicap 1000 metres
 
LE PALMIER – Over raced in the middle stages and near the600m had to be steadied out away from the heels of IN A STEP.
 
KALIK – Had to be restrained off the heels of IN A STEP which shifted in abruptly at the 500m.
 
PLENTY – Slow into stride after jumping away awkwardly.
 
IN A STEP – At 500m shifted in abruptly and became unbalanced.
 
Race 6: DES LAMBART MEMORIAL BENCHMARK 85 Handicap 1200 metres
 
JUNCTION – Raced keenly in the early stages.
 
GENZAI THE WOLF – Laid in under pressure in the straight.
 
AHEADOFHISTIME – Jumped away awkwardly.
 
Race 7: EUREKA STUD BENCHMARK 72 Handicap 1200 metres
 
INGEAR – After arriving at the barriers, had its off fore plate reshod resulting in a delay to the start of this race.
 
RED RUBI – Raced keenly in the middle stages and shifted out near the 600m making contact with SING FOR VIOLET.
 
UNDENIABLE – Raced three wide throughout.
 
SING FOR VIOLET – Trainer advised that from a wide barrier it would be ridden off the pace to obtain cover. Ridden accordingly.
 
 
Race 8: TATTERSALL'S MEMBERS QTIS Three-Year-Old Handicap 1000 metres
 
RHAPSODY ROSE – Jumped away awkwardly. Raced four wide without cover throughout.
 
THE KEWESS – Slow to begin after jumping away awkwardly.
 
RUBIQUITOUS – Approaching the 600m bumped with SHE’S HEAVENLY on a couple of occasions.
 
SHE'S HEAVENLY – Jumped away awkwardly. Approaching the 600m bumped with RUBIQUITOUS on a couple of occasions.
 
SNOWDROP – Raced 3 wide without cover.
 
 
Race 9: EMMA WILLIAMS BENCHMARK 75 Handicap 1400 metres
 
VINCO – Slow to begin. Had difficulty obtaining clear running over the final 600m.
 
DUSTY TYCOON – Jumped inwards at the start making contact with AVOWAL. Laid outwards over the final 300m.
 
AVOWAL – Bumped on jumping. Raced three wide with cover throughout.
 
FIFTEEN ROUNDS – Unable to secure clear running in the straight.
 
HALLOWED GIRL – Slow to begin after jumping away extremely awkwardly.
 
MIKADO – Raced three wide without cover throughout.
 
ESKDALE GIRL – Raced three wide with cover throughout.
