Due to the delay prior to Race 2, all allotted race times went back one race.

RACE 1: RACECOURSE VILLAGE MAIDEN PLATE 1000 M
 
IGOTMYMINDONYOU – Bumped on jumping away. When asked to comment on performance, Apprentice J. Franklin reported that in his opinion, the gelding may have held its breath and proved disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery. Trainer N. Keal advised that IGOTMYMINDONYOU would now be sent for a spell.
 
ARISTOCRATIC GIRL – Blundered on jumping away. Held up rounding the home turn until the 300m.
 
FROTHSAY – Began awkwardly.
 
DESANTO – Bumped on jumping away. Raced wide for the majority.
EUPHORIC MISS – Began awkwardly and shifted out on jumping away. Held up rounding the home turn until the 300m.
 
Following the running of this race, Stewards upgraded the track to a Good 4 at 1:03pm.
 
RACE 2: SOUTHS SPORTS CLUB QTIS THREE-YEAR-OLD FILLIES MAIDEN PLATE 1200 M
 
The start of this event was delayed owing to an on-course patron requiring medical assistance from the QAS.
 
ALIQUAM – Raced wide.
 
BEFORE THIS WORLD – Began awkwardly before mustering early speed. Laid in when racing greenly leaving the 1000m and made contact with the rail.
 
BOOZIE MISS – Raced wide.
 
PRONTO PERCY – Slow to begin.
 
RUSSIAN TEMPEST - Bumped on jumping away.
 
SEA VOYAGE – Became fractious in the barriers prior to the start being effected and was backed out. Underwent a veterinary examination behind the barriers and was subsequently declared a late scratching on veterinary advice at 2:11pm. Prior to the declaration of correct weight, Stewards ordered that all bets placed on SEA VOYAGE be refunded with the following deductions to apply:
 
1st MERCATELLO2c win, 3c place
2nd CERETTI3c place
3rd PEARLS IN JUNE 3c place
 
Trainer G. Duncan was advised that a warning would be placed on SEA VOYAGE in relation to its barrier manners and that the filly would require a veterinary clearance prior to racing again.
 
TOO MUCH CHILLI – Bumped on jumping away. Laid in when tiring approaching the 100m.
 
YAKITORI – Began awkwardly. Bumped and became unbalanced near the 500m when PRONTO PERCY shifted out to improve.
 
 
RACE 3: LADBROKES PUNTER ASSIST QTIS THREE-YEAR-OLD COLTS AND GELDINGS MAIDEN PLATE 1200 M
 
ELNAJEEB – Began awkwardly and shifted out. After being caught wide early, restrained to take up a position at the rear of the field near the 850m. When asked to comment on performance, Jockey B. Thompson reported that it was his intention to be in a more forward position, however after beginning awkwardly, he elected to settle further back, rather than be caught wide, and as a result, was unable to improve into the race as expected. A post-race veterinary examination revealed clinical signs of the thumps.
MR HILTON – Began awkwardly and lost ground. Shifted out abruptly approaching the finishing line.
 
PEANUTS – Bumped shortly after the start. Lost its off-fore plate.
 
POWER AND WAR – Began awkwardly. Bumped shortly after the start. After being restrained to obtain cover passing the 1000m, commenced to lay out and continued to do so until entering the home straight.
 
 
RACE 4: BECOME A BRC MEMBER BENCHMARK 68 HANDICAP 1000 M
 
NEVER SAY NAY – Approaching the 700m, improved onto heels and had to be steadied.
 
AIR WE GO – Raced keenly passing the 800m whilst being restrained to obtain cover.
 
SAXON KING (GB) – Trainer C. Richardson was reprimanded pursuant to AR 106(1) for presenting SAXON KING (GB) to race with incorrect gear. Slow to begin.
 
CABALETTO – Jockey C. Graham reported at scale that upon straightening, her mount had a tendency to lay out and in her opinion, would be better suited to more rain affected racing surfaces.
 
MISSILE ONE – Began awkwardly.
 
ELECTRIC ARROW – Began awkwardly. Raced wide.
 
FOR BETTER – Obliged to alter course on several occasions to secure clear running in the home straight.
 
IMPACT ZONE – Began awkwardly.
 
 
RACE  5: SKY RACING CLASS 3 PLATE 1600 M
 
READY FOR THE TRIP – Began awkwardly.
 
YOU AND I (NZ) – Trainer J. Morris was fined $100 pursuant to AR 106(1) for presenting YOU AND I (NZ) to race without blinkers and a tongue tie. Began awkwardly. Over-raced in the early stages. When over-racing approaching the 1400m, had to be restrained from the heels of AMAHNI'S GIRL, which shifted in. Jockey D. Turner the rider of AMAHNI'S GIRL, was reprimanded pursuant to AR 131(a) for careless riding.  Following this incident, YOU AND I (NZ) continued to over-race during the middle stages. Raced three wide without cover throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a poor recovery, elevated respiratory rate and bilateral soreness in front. Trainer J. Morris was advised that a veterinary certificate would be required prior to racing again.
 
HEAVENLY LOVE – Held up approaching the home turn and in the early part of the home straight. Approaching the 100m, was obliged to steady from the heels of READY FOR THE TRIP, which shifted out before being corrected by its rider.
 
AMAHNI'S GIRL - Obliged to race in restricted room leaving the 1300m when YOU AND I (NZ) shifted in. When asked to comment on the tactics adopted today, which resulted in AMAHNI'S GIRL racing further back in the field, Jockey D. Turner stated that it was his intention to ride in a more forward position however, after being crowded for room at the start, and being unable to muster early speed, he elected to settle in the second half of the field..
 
PISTON REBEL – Slow to begin and was then hampered.
 
COOL MUSIC – Approaching the 100m was bumped.
 
CASTELLO GRANDE - Obliged to race in restricted room leaving the 1300m when YOU AND I (NZ) shifted in.
 
 
RACE  6: XXXX GOLD FILLIES AND MARES BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP 1200 M
 
The start of this event was delayed approximately 11 minutes owing to DISMANTLE rearing and becoming loose behind the barriers, before galloping for a considerable distance and subsequently being declared a late scratching on veterinary advice at 4:35pm. Prior to the declaration of correct weight, Stewards ordered that all bets placed on DISMANTLE be refunded with the following deductions to apply:
 
1st BLAKEMORE AVENUE  24c win, 17c place
2nd ESPRIT DU JOUR 17c place
3rd KELANOA20c place
 
Trainer T. Gollan was advised that a warning would be placed on DISMANTLE in relation to its pre-race manners and that the mare would require a veterinary clearance prior to racing again.
 
CARBONARA – Began awkwardly and shifted in. Over-raced near the1000m and continued to over-race for a short distance thereafter when racing in restricted room. Held up rounding the home turn until leaving the 200m. Inconvenienced over the concluding stages when racing in restricted room, between A TOUCH FROM FAYT and BLAKEMORE AVENUE, which shifted in.
 
RUBYDOO – Held up rounding the home turn until the 250m. Inconvenienced near 150m and then held up for the remainder of the event.
 
STAR VENTURE – Began awkwardly. Raced wide. Near the 900m, had to steady when awkwardly placed on the heels of A TOUCH FROM FAYT, which shifted in.
 
ESPRIT DU JOUR – Began awkwardly and raced in restricted room. Apprentice E. Lang dropped her whip over the concluding stages. Held up rounding the home turn until leaving the 300m.
 
LADY ZAYDI – Bumped on jumping away and lost ground. Leaving the 1100m, raced in restricted room and had to be steadied when CARBONARA laid in. Held up for clear running over the final 100m and as a result was unable to be fully tested to the finishing line.
 
FARNESINA- Raced wide. Near the 900m, was taken in by STAR VENTURE which was carried in by A TOUCH FROM FAYT.
 
KELANOA – Over-raced at heels during the middle stages. Had some difficulty obtaining clear running passing the 100m.
 
SWANFELS – Blundered on jumping away and lost ground. Near the 900m, when racing in restricted room, had to be steadied when awkwardly placed at the heels of FARNESINA, which was taken in by STAR VENTURE, which was carried in by A TOUCH FROM FAYT which shifted in. Jockey C. Graham the rider of A TOUCH FROM FAYT was reprimanded pursuant to AR 131(a) for careless riding. Raced wide. Laid in near the 200m and had to be corrected by its rider.
 
 
RACE  7: STRADBROKE SEASON ON SALE NOW COLTS, GELDINGS & ENTIRES BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP 1200 M
 
CODE IN TIME – Began awkwardly.
 
ENTERPRISE ATTACK – After working strongly to the barriers underwent a veterinary examination and was cleared to start. Began awkwardly.
 
DARK ARTS – Had some difficulty obtaining clear running approaching the 200m.
 
CRESSBROOK - Approaching the 800m, commenced to over-race, improved onto heels, shifted out and bumped with TSUNODA on a number of occasions before again improving onto heels nearing the 600m.
 
TSUNODA – Raced wide for the majority. Forced wider near the 800m when CRESSBROOK improved onto heels and shifted out and shortly thereafter, bumped with CRESSBROOK on a number of occasions.
 
QUICKZOU – Began awkwardly.
 
 
RACE 8: LADBROKES MEGA MULTI CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1400M
 
NOIRE EMPEROR – Began awkwardly.
 
WILIAMTHECONQUEROR – Raced keenly leaving the 900m.
 
FIREFORCE – Reared at the start and lost ground. Over-raced in the early and middle stages. When asked to comment on the performance of FIREFORCE, Jockey A. Jones reported that the gelding proved disappointing and in her opinion FIREFORCE may have come to the end of its preparation. Trainer K. Schweida advised that the gelding would now be sent for a spell. Lost its near-fore plate.
 
SIMPLY FUN – Began awkwardly and as a result was slow to begin. Over-raced approaching the 900m. Inconvenienced over the concluding stages when WILIAMTHECONQUEROR shifted out after being bumped by DIVERSITY.
 
SUBTERRAIN – Momentarily held up in the early part of the home straight. Lost its near hind plate.
MEADOWBROOK (NZ) – Held up rounding the home turn and in the early part of the home straight. Jockey M. Rodd was reprimanded pursuant to AR132(7)(a)(i) for using his whip in consecutive strides prior to the 100m.
 
 
QUIT 'N' TAP – Began awkwardly, shifted in and bumped KRUMAC. Jockey M. Du Plessis reported at scale that QUIT ’N’ TAP had minor lacerations to both hindlegs, consistent with being galloped on. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery.
 
DUOMO – Over-raced in the early and middle stages. Had difficulty securing clear running in the early part of the home straight.
 
DIVERSITY – Began awkwardly.
 
KRUMAC – Hampered between runners on jumping away and lost ground.
 
ACE'S IN BLOOM (NZ) – Approaching the 1200m, was obliged to steady from the heels of QUIT 'N' TAP which shifted in when insufficiently clear. Jockey M. Du Plessis the rider of QUIT 'N' TAP was reprimanded pursuant to AR 131(a) for careless riding.
