GENERAL
 
Trainer D. McColm was fined $100 under LR67(1) for the late declaration of L. Nolen as the rider of SATISFIED MUGS in Race 1.
 
As Jockey D. Stackhouse was unable to make the allocated weight in Race 4, he was replaced on PALATIAL PRINCE by B. Thompson. Jockey D. Stackhouse was fined $100 pursuant to AR 190(3) for accepting a ride when overweight.
 
As Jockey R. Maloney was unable to make the allocated weight in Races 5, he was replaced on SWELTERING by C. Schofield and in Race 6 on ETNA ROSSO (IRE) by B. Melham. Jockey R. Maloney was fined $300 pursuant to AR 190(3) for accepting a ride when overweight.
 
 
RACE 1: SKY RACING QTISX THREE-YEARS-OLD HANDICAP ** WEIGHTS RAISED 1.5KG**         1200 M

SWORD OF LEGACY – Over-raced in the middle stages and passing the 600m, had to be steadied after improving onto heels. Had difficulty obtaining clear running on entering the home straight.

SATISFIED MUGS – Began awkwardly. Over-raced in the early stages. Leaving the 700m, had to be steadied after becoming awkwardly placed at the heels of LA BELLA BOOM, which blundered in front. Continued to over-race for a short distance thereafter. When asked to comment on the performance, Jockey L. Nolen reported that SATISFIED MUGS over-raced in the early stages, which in his opinion had a detrimental effect on its finishing efforts. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery and clinical signs of the thumps.
 

LA BELLA BOOM – Began awkwardly and lost ground. Over-raced throughout the event. Approaching the 700m improved onto the heels of PROPAGANDA, resulting in LA BELLA BOOM clipping the heels of PROPAGANDA and blundering. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

EXCENIA – Restrained at the start to secure a position at the rear of the field.                 
 
PROPAGANDA – Leaving the 800m, commenced to race greenly and had to be straightened on a number of occasions. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a minor abrasion to its near hind fetlock.

RHETORIC – Raced in restricted room for a short distance leaving the 800m to the inside of PROPAGANDA, which shifted in before being corrected.       

RACE 2: LADBROKES MEGA MULTI BM85 HANDICAP         1200 M  

BOOM TORQUE – Began awkwardly and lost ground. Had difficulty obtaining clear running passing the 350m.     
 
NAVYONTHEHIGHWAY – Laid in under pressure throughout the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a minor laceration to its off-hind leg.
 
TOWN CRIER – Leaving the 1000m, shifted in and way from NOW IS THE HOUR.

LISZTOMANIA – Slow to begin.  
 
BOSSED UP – Carried in leaving the 1000m.

CASPERNOVA – Began awkwardly and bumped with ZOUFANI shortly after the start. Laid in under pressure over the concluding stages.

NOW IS THE HOUR – When asked to comment on the performance, Jockey D. Moor reported that in his opinion NOW IS THE HOUR may not have appreciated today’s track conditions. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

ISTOLEA MERC – When asked to comment on the performance, Jockey A. Morgan reported that in his opinion, ISTOLEA MERC may not have appreciated today’s soft track conditions. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
 
ZOUFANI - Began awkwardly and bumped with CASPERNOVA shortly after the start. Raced in restricted room for a short distance leaving the 1000m and had to be steadied to avoid the heels of BOSSED UP, which was carried in by TOWN CRIER, which was obliged to shift in.
 
SCHEHERAZADE - Raced in restricted room for a considerable distance leaving the 800m to the inside of NAVYONTHEHIGHWAY, which laid in under pressure.

RACE 3: TATTERSALL'S STAKES (2YO) - LISTED        1400 M
 
MARFFIANO -A post-race veterinary examination revealed a minor laceration to its off hindleg.

COOL GENT – Over-raced in the middle stages. Passing the 700m, improved onto heels and had to be steadied.
 
WOOTTON YOU KNOW – Hampered on jumping away.

HARD TO EXCEED – Began awkwardly.          
 
TANNIN – When asked to comment on the performance, Jockey T. Berry reported that TANNIN failed to respond when placed under pressure and in his opinion may not have appreciated today’s track conditions. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery and clinical signs of the thumps.

KLOCKE – Connections advised a change of tactics – attempt to settle further forward. Ridden accordingly. Began awkwardly and bumped HIDE THE PIERATA.

PEARL OF DUBAI – Bumped with LA BARRITA on jumping away.
 
SAY YOU WILL – Began awkwardly.      
 
LA BARRITA – Bumped with PEARL OF DUBAI on jumping away. Obliged to alter course leaving the 200m and shifted in.

HIDE THE PIERATA – Began awkwardly and bumped KLOCKE.

RACE 4: LADBROKES 2026 BATTLE OF THE BUSH FINAL QUALITY HCP  1200 M

KA BLING – Hampered on jumping away. Leaving the 600m, became awkwardly placed on heels when racing in restricted room to the inside of KING JESTER and as a result, brushed the running rail.
 
REVOLT – Raced in restricted room for a short distance leaving the 200m. Laid in under pressure over the concluding stages. When asked to comment on the performance, Jockey L. Tilley reported that in his opinion, REVOLT did not appreciate the sustained pressure of racing to the inside of SUNNYCOAST and proved disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
 
SUNNYCOAST – Jockey R. Wiggins reported at scale that SUNNYCOAST was inclined to over-race.

PESHWA – Jockey T. Berry reported at scale that in his opinion PESHWA did not appreciate today’s soft track conditions.          
 
ROLL UP – Shifted out on jumping away and bumped ODEGAARD. Leaving the 350m was obliged to alter course and shift out to improve into clear running. Passing the 300m was momentarily inconvenienced and had its hindquarters contacted by READY AND MABEL.
 
ENTREPRENEURIAL – Began awkwardly. Passing the 1000m, made the corner awkwardly and shifted out. Over-raced in the middle stages. Obliged to steady leaving the 600m after becoming awkwardly placed on the heels of CORKSCREW (NZ). Had to steady passing the 250m after improving onto the heels of CORKSCREW (NZ).

ODEGAARD – Hampered on jumping way. Laid in under pressure in the home straight.

KING JESTER – Bumped on jumping away and had its hindquarters contacted. Obliged to steady near the 250m after becoming awkwardly placed on the heels of ENTREPRENEURIA. Momentarily inconvenienced passing the 150m when carried in by READY AND MABEL, which shifted in and away from ROLL UP, which was carried in marginally by ODEGAARD, which laid in under pressure. 

RED HOT LIZZIE – Raced wide. Had difficulty obtaining clear running on entering the home straight. Approaching the 300m raced in restricted room for a short distance between RAETIHI (NZ) and ODEGAARD, which laid in under pressure. Laid in under pressure over the concluding stages.
 
RAETIHI (NZ) – Raced wide.

SMACKEROONY – Raced wide. When asked to comment on the performance, Apprentice O. Kendal reported that in her opinion, SMACKEROONY did not appreciate today’s soft track conditions and may have come to the end of its preparation.
 
PALATIAL PRINCE – Raced wide. When asked to comment on the performance, Jockey B. Thompson reported that after being caught wide, PALATIAL PRINCE failed to respond when placed under pressure and proved disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame on its near foreleg. Trainer G. Richardson was advised that a veterinary certificate would be required prior to PALATIAL PRINCE racing again. 

RACE 5: TATTERSALL'S GOLD CROWN (FILLIES & MARES) (3YO&UP) (SW&P) – LISTED    2100 M

PINITO - Connections advised a change of tactics – attempt to settle further forward. Ridden accordingly. Leaving the 600m, became awkwardly placed on heels and had to be steadied. When asked to comment on the performance, Jockey N. Rawiller reported that PINITO raced flat and failed to respond when placed under pressure. He further added that in his opinion, the mare may have come to the end of its preparation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Trainer representative B. Killion advised that PINITO would now be sent for a spell. 
 
 
WALSH BAY – When asked to comment on the performance, Jockey M. Rodd reported that WALSH BAY weakened noticeably when placed under pressure and proved disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
 
HYPERBOLIC (NZ) – Bumped on jumping away. Passing the 600m, was momentarily inconvenienced and became awkwardly placed on the heels of EXTRAORDINAIRE (FR), when attempting to shift out.
 
BESTOWER (NZ) – Began awkwardly and bumped HYPERBOLIC (NZ).


RACE 6: TATTERSALL'S CUP (3YO & UP) (SW&P) - GROUP 3      2400 M

ASTERIX (NZ) - Connections advised a change of tactics – attempt to settle further forward. Settled back of midfield. Laid in under pressure in the home straight.

FUTURE HISTORY (GB) – Laid in in the early stages of the event. Jockey N. Rawiller reported at scale that he became concerned with the action of FUTURE HISTORY (GB) over the concluding stages and as a result, elected not to place the gelding under pressure. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Trainer G. Hickman stated that in his opinion, FUTURE HISTORY was not suited to today’s track conditions and would now be sent for a freshen up. Trainer G. Hickman was advised that FUTURE HISTORY (GB) would now be required to officially trial prior to racing again. Trainer G. Hickman was advised to report back on the condition of FUTURE HISTORY in the days subsequent.
 
FAWKNER PARK (IRE) – Jockey T. Berry reported at scale that it was not his intention to settle that far forward, however as FAWKNER PARK (IRE) was inclined to race keenly in the early stages, he elected to allow his mount to stride forward and settle where comfortable.

ETNA ROSSO (IRE) - Momentarily inconvenienced passing the 400m.

PRINCE LEVI – Began awkwardly.                     

RACE 7: TATTERSALL'S MILE - LISTED      1600 M

WAR ETERNAL (NZ) – Had its hindquarters contacted shortly after jumping away.
 
SUN GOD (GB) - Connections advised a change of tactics – attempt to settle with cover. Ridden accordingly. Shifted out on jumping away and bumped KEITEL. Held up for clear running on entering the home straight.
 
KRONENBOURG (NZ) – Became fractious leaving the mounting yard and contacted the rail. Underwent a veterinary examination behind the barriers and was cleared to start.

PORT LOCKROY - Raced wide. Momentarily inconvenienced approaching the 200m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
 
RISING PACIFIC (NZ) – Began very awkwardly and shifted in. Over-raced in the middle stages. Approaching the 1000m had to be steadied after improving onto heels.

YET HE MOVES - Connections advised a change of tactics – attempt to settle with cover. After beginning well, settled outside of the lead.         
 
PASIMA – Inconvenienced on jumping away and lost ground. Held up for clear running on entering the home straight. Obliged to shift out approaching the 200m in order to improve.

WARBY - Began awkwardly. Raced wide.

KEITEL – Bumped shortly after jumping away. Laid in under pressure in the home straight.

RACE 8: TATTERSALL'S TIARA (FILLIES & MARES) (WFA) - GROUP 1 1400M

SPLASH BACK (FR) - Hampered shortly after jumping away. Became awkwardly placed on heels leaving the 500m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be coughing. Trainer G. Begg was advised that a veterinary certificate inclusive of endoscopic results would be required prior to SPLASH BACK (FR) racing again.
 
ABOUNDING – Hampered on jumping away.
 
MANAAL – Began awkwardly and shifted in.     
 
TUILERIES – Began awkwardly. Leaving the 1100m commenced to race fiercely whilst being restrained to obtain cover. Leaving the 200m was severely hampered by GERRIGONG which improved into a narrowing run to TUILERIES outside resulting in the hindquarters of TUILERIES being turned. Jockey N Rawiller, rider of GERRIGONG, was severely reprimanded under the provisions of AR131(a). A post-race veterinary examination revealed a minor abrasion to its right hindleg.
 

MIDNIGHT IN TOKYO – Shifted in on jumping away.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
 
GERRIGONG – Had difficulty obtaining clear running for a short distance passing the 200m and was hampered improving into a narrowing run between TUILERIES and MIDNIGHT IN TOKYO.
 
INFANCY – Raced in restricted room for a short distance leaving the 1100m between GERRINGONG and AHHA AHHA, which shifted out marginally. Near the 900m, raced in restricted room.

MELODY AGAIN – Bumped on jumping away.

FIRESTORM (NZ) - Connections advised a change of tactics – attempt to settle with cover. Settled back.

AHHA AHHA - Connections advised a change of tactics – attempt to settle further forward. Ridden accordingly. Leaving the 600m, became awkwardly placed at heels when attempting to improve to the inside of TUILERIES.

SAVAGERY VIBE – Shifted out on jumping away. Over-raced in the early stages whilst racing in restricted room. Obliged to steady after becoming awkwardly placed on heels leaving the 600m.

POSTER GIRL – Shifted out on jumping away.

BLINDEDBYTHELIGHT – Passing the 1100m raced in restricted room to the inside of TUILERIES, which commenced to race fiercely to its outside when placed in restricted room by POSTER GIRL, which shifted in.

PARADISE CITY - Connections advised a change of tactics – attempt to settle further forward. Ridden accordingly. Hampered on jumping away.

SOFT LOVE – Hampered at the start.

WITHIN THE LAW - Shifted out on jumping away and bumped MELODY AGAIN.

RACE 9: EUREKA STUD W.J. HEALY STAKES - GROUP 3    1200 M

YELLOW BRICK - Bumped with OAK HILL (NZ) on jumping away.
 
PAYLINE – Held up for clear running approaching the 200m and was obliged to shift out to improve.

BRUDENELL – Leaving the 200m had to be restrained and lost its rightful running after being placed in restricted room by PEREILLE, which was carried out by PAYLINE which shifted out when insufficiently clear. Jockey N. Rawiller, the rider of PAYLINE, pleaded guilty and was charged pursuant to AR 131(a) for careless riding. Jockey N. Rawiller’s license to ride in races was suspended for a period of days commencing midnight 27th June and concluding midnight 7th July 2026. Jockey N. Rawiller was advised of his right to appeal.

OAK HILL (NZ) – Bumped with YELLOW BRICK on jumping away. 
 
GIVEMETHEBEATBOYS (IRE) – Slow to begin.
 
NIANCE (NZ) – Began awkwardly and lost ground. Raced wide.
 
HATCHET – Bumped on jumping away.
 
PEREILLE – Leaving the 200m, was carried out by PAYLINE, which shifted out in order to improve.

FIRE STAR - Raced wide.

KING KAPA - Raced wide.
 
ABOUT TO EXPLODE – Began awkwardly and bumped HATCHET.
