AQUIS PARK GOLD COAST 27th June 2026
Race 6: LANGS BUILDING SUPPLIES QTIS 3-Y-O BM65 HANDICAP – 1400 Metres
Rider J. Lloyd (ENFORCEABLE) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under AR131(a) in that when being ridden along passing the 50m, he permitted his mount to shift out into the running of ADORABLE THOUGHT, when not clear, with that filly clipping the heels of ENFORCEABLE and falling. In issuing the charge, Stewards acknowledged in the incident, ADORABLE THOUGHT was contacted on the hindquarters by I’LLTELLYOUTONIGHT, which was contacted by FIRE BOMBER, which shifted out slightly. J. Lloyd’s license to ride in races was suspended for a period of twenty-seven (27) days, commencing midnight 13th July 2026, concluding midnight 9th August 2026. In assessing penalty, account was taken of the QRIC Careless Riding Guidelines. Acting under AR283(4), and giving consideration to the principle of totality, Stewards directed the suspension be served concurrently with his careless riding suspension incurred at Aquis Park Gold Coast on 4th July, due to commence midnight 13th July, so that the total penalty time to be served, is not manifestly excessive.
