Race 1: TICS PTY LTD EINASLEIGH CUP OPEN HANDICAP – 1620 METRES
 
RYANO – Rider L. McCoy advised stewards on returning to scale that she was struck in the
face behind the barriers prior to the horse being loaded when the ear-muffs were being
removed. Ms McCoy was examined by the QAS officials following the race which revealed a
split bottom lip. Ms McCoy was cleared to fulfil her remaining engagements.
 
BE FAMOUS – Rider M. Abe dropped his whip near the 150 metres.

LET'S CONQUER – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
Race 2: BENDIGO BANK RAVENSHOE/C MCMAHON, J SEALES, P RYAN PAST
MEMBERS MEM. BRACELET BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP – 1220 METRES
 
MACIPENKO (GB) – Delayed the start after becoming very fractious in the barriers and being declared a late scratching a 1.47pm by order of stewards acting on veterinary advice. On the announcement of correct weight all monies invested on MACIPENKO was ordered to be refunded with deductions of 72 cents in the dollar on the face value of all win bets and 42 cents in the dollar on the face value of all place bets to be applicable. Trainer A. Ryan was advised he must obtain a further barrier certificate prior to the horse racing again.
 
Race 3: GENEX POWER MAGIC MILLIONS/ROB KOCH MEM./FNQ UP&C STAYERS
RATINGS BAND 0 - 60 HANDICAP – 1620 METRES
 
WILSON'S GIFT – Delayed the start when proved difficult to load. Trainer A. Malliff was advised a warning would be placed on the filly’s barrier manners. Slow to begin. Raced wide in middle stages.  
 
LUCE BRUCE – Slow to begin. After finishing tailed off, a post-race veterinary examination of the gelding revealed lameness in the off-front leg. Trainer A. Malliff was advised he must  provide a veterinary certificate of soundness prior to its next race start or trial.  
 
WELL CHARRED – Slow to begin. Raced ungenerously in the early and middle stages. shifted wider leaving the 400 metres to improve.
 
Race 4: LANEWAY RESOURCES/CURLEY CATTLE TRANSPORT BENCHMARK 50
HANDICAP – 1020 METRES
 
LOVE FLIES – Slow to begin. Commenced to lay out leaving the 800 metres and raced wide from that point onwards. Shifted wider rounding the home turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
 
SIGNIFICANT RULE – Began awkwardly.
 
LIGHTEMUP JERRY – Shifted out abruptly approaching the 100 metres before being corrected.
 
Race 5: HUNGRY POSSUM CATERING/LW RYAN, KL JENKINS, BIG JOE, W&B BUTLER
MEMORIAL QTIS MAIDEN PLATE – 1220 METRES
 
STRIKE A BEAU – Threw its head in the air on a number of occasions when being restrained in the early stages.  
 
LOVE ON SUNDAY – Brushed near the 150 metres. Laid in over the concluding stages brushing POETIC ATTACKS on the hind quarters.                          
         
POETIC ATTACKS – Laid out approaching the 150 metres brushing LOVE ON SUNDAY. Brushed on the hind quarters over the concluding stages.
