SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT

ROCKHAMPTON JC 25/03/2021
Trainer S Sigvart advised the Stewards SHE JUST SAID IT had suffered a torn muscle in the neck region. Mr Sigvart advised he was currently treating the injury and SHE JUST SAID IT would have a brief let up before resuming racing. Mr Sigvart was advised a veterinary clearance would be required prior to the mare resuming racing.

Trainer J Wehlow advised the Stewards that CHARLES SEVEN had bled from one nostril following its jumpout and it has been stood down for a 1000m gallop in the presence of the Stewards

AMERICAN GENIUS – Raced wide for the majority of the race and laid in under pressure in the home straight.

Following the running of Race One several riders reported their mounts jumped two marks on the track between the 600m and 450m. A delegation of riders, club representatives and Stewards inspected the marks. The riders after considering the actions of their mounts in race one and after the inspection of the track withdrew their services for the remainder of the day due to safety concerns and the remainder of the meeting was abandoned.
