Other Comments / Explanations:
Prior to the running of race one stewards assessed the track surface between the 600m and the 400m expressing concerns with the safety and stability of the track. After working with Club Officials stewards deemed the track suitable for racing and the amended race times are as follows:
Race 1 - KOTZUR BENCHMARK 45 HANDICAP – 1000m
The start time of this event was amended to 1:45pm
 
Spectacular Rock – Hung out rounding the home turn.
Shelly’s Dream – Slow to begin, Inclined to hang out throughout.
She’s Got Magic – Laid out under pressure in the home straight.
Forgotten Feeling – Fractious in barriers.
Ayla’s Angel – Slow into stride.
 
Race 2 - PRECISION AERIAL RATINGS BAND 0 - 60 HANDICAP – 1000m
The start time of this event was amended to 2:20pm
Cash’n’run – Began awkwardly making contact with another runner to the inside.
Edinglassie Flyer – Hampered by runners either side shortly after the start and lost ground. When questioned regarding to the disappointing performance, Jockey R. Goldsbury advised that after beginning poorly and settling at the rear of the field, her mount resented the kick back throughout. Stewards noted Jockey Goldsbury’s explanation.
 
Last Round – Began awkwardly making contact with another runner to the inside.
Noor Dropper – Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
Race 3 - CARTER DENTAL QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 2-Y-O & Up.Set Weights – 1200m
Massie Whisper – Stood flat footed and lost ground. Trainer M. Hemmings was advised a warning would be placed on the runner.
Aquifer Mist – Difficult to load. Slow to begin. Trainer S. Mcewan was advised a warning would be placed on the gelding.
 
Race 4 - WIDELAND AG GROUP FLINTON CUP OPEN HANDICAP – 1200m
Something Unknown – Slow into stride and lost ground. Approaching the 1050m commenced to buck, tailed off and took no competitive part in the race. Trainer B. Loakes was advised the gelding would require a barrier certificate prior to it returning to race. Apprentice M. Savva was reprimanded under AR.208(1)(a) for failing to weigh in for fifth.
 
Race 5 - CRAIGS WELDING AND TYRE SERVICE BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP – 1200m
