SUPPLEMENTARY:

From Ipswich Turf Club Friday 19 December 2014 – Race 7 – When questioned as to his riding of BREEZE ON BY over the concluding stages, Jockey R Wiggins stated that shortly before the end of the race he stopped riding when PRIVATE LABEL which was racing to his inside bumped the running rail and became unbalanced. As Stewards did not believe this incident had a material effect on the placings they accepted his explanation.

From Brisbane Race Club Meeting 20 December 2014 – Race 6 - Jockey T Treichel was reprimanded for failing to weigh in as fifth placegetter on FINISHING CARD.

Race 1: Schneider Electric BenchMark 85 H’cap – 1100m
1st – Flying Riddle 2nd – Trail Boss 3rd – Vienna Queen 4th – Lesley’s Choice

Due to traffic delays en-route to the course, Stewards permitted Jockey J P Stanley to replace Jockey E Wilkinson on STATE OF WEALTH.

TRAIL BOSS – Slow to begin. A veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have bled from the near side nostril. A further examination revealed the blood to be the result of an external laceration.

VIENNA QUEEN – Began awkwardly.

TRICKY ROCKET – Began awkwardly. Raced wide throughout. When questioned as to the disappointing performance, Jockey L Tarrant stated that the gelding did not travel comfortably at any stage of the race and in his opinion may have come to the end of its current preparation. Trainer H Page advised that the gelding would be sent for a spell. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities at the time of examination.

FLYING RIDDLE – When questioned as to the improved performance stable representative G Green stated that at its last start the gelding, after beginning well, over-raced for the majority of the event when positioned outside the leader and as a result compounded over the concluding stages on that occasion. Mr Green stated that the gelding performs better when able to be ridden with cover as it was today. His explanation was noted.

Race 2: Stuart James Memorial Open H’cap – 1800m
1st – Goldslick 2nd – Avalanches 3rd – Double Impact 4th – Aldini

Due to the downgrade of the track Stewards permitted the late withdrawal of DARCEY at 12.00 pm.

RIDEONABIGJETPLANE – The start was delayed when the gelding shifted its near fore plate when being presented to race. A veterinary examination of the gelding behind the barriers and after its preliminary found the gelding to be lame in that same leg and as such was declared a late scratching by order of stewards at 2.44 pm. All monies invested on RIDEONABIGJETPLANE were ordered to be refunded. Deductions applicable to bets placed on the winner and place-getters prior to 2.44 pm:
