Due to the forecast weather conditions, all races were rescheduled to the times below:

Stewards approved the following overweight allowance at today’s meeting:
Race 5 – TENNESSEE WHISKEY – D. Peisley +1kg (56kg)
RACE 1: LUCENT ROYALE FILLIES AND MARES MAIDEN HANDICAP 1200 M
HELLARIOUS – Declared a late scratching at 9:10am. Co-Trainer M. Sears was fined $200 pursuant to LR68(1) for failing to scratch the mare by the prescribed time.
AMAZARA – Bumped with PAPER DOLL near the 450m.
PAPER DOLL – Bumped with AMAZARA near the 450m.
MISS HIGHFALUTIN (NZ) – Bumped on a number of occasions with MY CHARM leaving the 800m. Raced wide without cover throughout.
MY CHARM – Bumped on a number of occasions with MISS HIGHFALUTIN leaving the 800m. Near the 600m, laid out and was steadied after becoming awkward on heels.
BOOM FLYER – Slow into stride.
TAMIEKA WARRIOR – Steadied from the heels of STAR VENTURE shortly after the start.
RACE 2: JGI COLTS, GELDINGS AND ENTIRES MAIDEN HANDICAP 1200M
BEST EAGLE – Began awkwardly, shifted out and bumped HALFACHANCE. Laid out near the 300m, before shifting back in approaching the 150m and bumped on a number of occasions with GLOBAL.
BETTA THAN PRESLEY – Approaching the 100m, laid out.
CHAMPAGNE SUNSET – Raced wide throughout. Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight.
GLOBAL – Began awkwardly, tightened for room and lost ground. Improved onto the heels of FAR BEYOND near the 300m and shifted in. Approaching the 150m, improved into a narrow run to the inside of BEST EAGLE and bumped on a number of occasions, becoming unbalanced.
NINJASK – Raced wide in the early stages. Bumped with LUCKY ARTIE near the 300m. When asked to comment on the performance, Jockey R. Wiggins advised the gelding was disappointing and believes may have come to the end of its preparation. Trainer P. Robl advised it is the intention to send the gelding for a spell.
ANTILLES GOLD – Bumped with FAR BEYOND near the 300m. Cast its near-fore plate in running.
FAR BEYOND – Held up rounding the home turn and had some difficulty obtaining clear running in the early stages of the home straight. Bumped with ANTILLES GOLD near the 300m.
LUCKY ARTIE – Began awkwardly. Raced wide throughout. Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. Bumped near the 300m with NINJASK.
HALFACHANCE – Bumped on jumping.
RACE 3: CARPET CALL QTIS THREE-YEAR-OLD MAIDEN PLATE 1200M
COASTAL COWBOY – Began awkwardly. Raced keenly in the early stages and steadied after improving onto heels near the 800m. Bumped with BODHRAN near the 250m.
MISHANI PRINCE – Blundered on jumping, unbalancing Apprentice O. Kendal. Raced wide throughout.
BODHRAN – Bumped on jumping. Bumped with COASTAL COWBOY near the 250m.
FYANSFORD FLYER – A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Jockey N. Tomizawa was reprimanded pursuant to AR132(6)(c) for using the whip on his mount which was out of contention.
HIDDEN FUTURE – Began awkwardly and bumped. Held up approaching the home turn. Raced greenly under pressure in the home straight.
LEAN IN DEEP – Brushed with RIDENDO rounding the home turn. Raced greenly under pressure in the home straight.
READY FOR AIMEE – Began awkwardly, shifted in and bumped BODHRAN.
RIDENDO – Trainer G. Hutchesson was reprimanded pursuant to AR102(a) for failing to notify that RIDENDO had been gelded. Raced wide throughout. Brushed with LEAN IN DEEP rounding the home turn.
RACE 4: FLOW & FORTUNE POWERED BY AUSTWORLD BENCHMARK 68 HANDICAP 1200M
BOONDOCKS – Began awkwardly.
DRIALLE – Raced keenly whilst wide in the early stages. Bumped with SMART RECOGNITION near the 700m.
SMART RECOGNITION – Bumped with DRIALLE near the 700m. When asked to comment on the performance, Apprentice C. Bellamy advised that after being unable to lead, the gelding resented racing between runners and proved disappointing in its finishing efforts. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery.
TOOLATEMATE – Began awkwardly. Near the 250m, improved onto the heels of MISS ZERMATT and was steadied.
SHAPIN POWER – Laid out during the middle stages. When asked to comment on the tactics adopted, Jockey A. Thompson advised his instructions were to lead from today’s favorable barrier. Trainer A. Plumb confirmed the instructions, adding that the same instructions have been issued at the mare’s previous starts, however it has been unable to lead. Trainer A. Plumb was reprimanded pursuant to AR100(1)(a) for failing to notify that the mare would be ridden in a different manner than at its most recent start. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be lame in its off-foreleg. Trainer A. Plumb was advised that the mare would require a veterinary certificate prior to next racing.
MISS ZERMATT – Raced wide throughout.
Following the running of this race, the track was upgraded to a good 4.
RACE 5: TRAKIDA JERICHO CUP (HEAT) BENCHMARK 70 HANDICAP 3200 M
GRIPPING – Improved close to heels approaching the winning post and shifted out.
TENNESSEE WHISKEY (NZ) – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was cleared to start.
GIDDY GAN'S JOY – Began awkwardly. Raced keenly in the early and middle stages.
JIMMY NAILS – Blundered on jumping. When asked to comment on the tactics adopted, Jockey D. Turner advised his instructions were to in a trailing position to get the gelding to settle in an endeavor for it to run out the 3200m. Jockey Turner added that the gelding failed to run on and proved disappointing. Stable representative H. Shailer confirmed the instructions issued to Jockey Turner. Trainer P. Shailer was fined $200 pursuant to AR100(1)(a) for failing to notify that the gelding would be ridden in a different manner than at its most recent start. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in its near-foreleg. Trainer P. Shailer was advised that the gelding would require a veterinary certificate prior to next racing.
RACE 6: TATE BROWNLEE REAL ESTATE BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP 1000M
PLATINUM LIES – Blundered on jumping, unbalancing Apprentice M. Philpot.
ENHANCE – Momentarily race in restricted room near the 850m after being crossed by RAFALE JOLIE (M. Palmer) which shifted in when not fully clear. Jockey M. Palmer was advised to exercise greater care in similar circumstances. Raced keenly in the middle stages and leaving the 500m, shifted out. Laid out under pressure in the home straight.
TRISKELION (NZ) – Raced in restricted room near the 850m.
WOOSH KA BOOM – Raced wide throughout.
WARRIOR CHIEF – Began awkwardly. Had some difficulty obtaining clear running in the early stages of the home straight. Jockey A. Thompson was reprimanded pursuant to AR132(7)(a)(i) for using the whip on consecutive strides prior to the 100m.
RACE 7: ANGUS FLEXIBLE PIPELINES AUSTRALIA BENCHMARK 62 HANDICAP 1400M
Due to storm activity in the area, the running of race 7 was delayed and rescheduled to be run at 3:39pm.
Following rainfall, the track was downgraded to a soft 5 prior to the running of this race.
WAR DRAMA (NZ) – Began awkwardly, shifted in and bumped. Raced keenly in the early stages. Bumped and taken wider near the 300m. Near the 150m, blundered after clipping the heels of WHOMSONEVER (R. Wiggins) which shifted out when not clear. Jockey R. Wiggins pleaded guilty to a charge pursuant to AR131(a), in that near the 150m when under riding, he did not make sufficient effort to prevent his mount from shifting out into the rightful running of WAR DRAMA (C. Bellamy), resulting in that runner being severely checked, blundering and unbalancing its rider. Jockey Wiggins’ license to ride in races was suspended for a period of 13 days to commence midnight 4th November 2025 and to expire midnight 17th November 2025. When determining penalty, Stewards considered Jockey Wiggins’ good record in relation to this rule, guilty plea and the QRIC careless riding penalty guidelines.
ZOUSAIN BOLT – Began awkwardly and shifted in. Cast its off-hind plate in running.
KEIKO SAY – Hampered on jumping.
ROSE OF SHIRAZ – Raced keenly in the early stages.
VENDEMMIA (NZ) – Trainer E. Ensby was fined $100 pursuant to LR67(1) for failing to declare a rider by the prescribed time. Bumped on jumping.
WHOMSONEVER – Shifted out near the 300m and bumped WAR DRAMA. Shifted out under pressure in the home straight. Cast its near-fore plate in running. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to have a laceration to its off-hind hock, consistent with having being galloped on. Trainer K. Goldman was advised that the mare would require a veterinary clearance prior to next racing.
LOVEY DOVEY – Change of tactics; to be further forward. Began awkwardly and as a result settled in a rearward position. Hampered near the 150m.
RACE 8: 2026 SUNS CORPORATE HOSPITALITY RATINGS BAND 0 - 58 HANDICAP 1400M
I STOLE IT – Trainer R. Beaton was fined $200 pursuant to LR67(1) for failing to declare a rider by the prescribed time. Hampered at the start and lost ground. Raced wide from the 600m.
MOTORBIKE – Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. Cast its off-fore plate in running.
WHISKY TRAIN (NZ) – Held up rounding the home turn.
DECARBONISE – Shifted in at the start.
GOLD PUMA – Had difficulty obtaining clear running between the 300m and the 200m.
ROMAN HEIR – Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. Checked after improving onto the heels of DECARBONISE near the 700m.
SEA OF QI – Hampered at the start and lost ground. Over raced in the early and middle stages. Near the 600m, improved onto heels and had to be steadied.
YEAH COPY – Began awkwardly. Obliged to steady, whilst being restrained to obtain cover from the heels of DECARBONISE near the 1000m. Raced wide for the majority. When asked to comment on the performance, Jockey D. Peisley advised the gelding felt awkward in its action and for this reason he desisted from pressuring his mount in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
PORT RIVER BILLIE – Improved onto the heels of the tiring YEAH COPY near the 250m and then bumped LASQUETI BOOM. When asked to comment on the performance, Jockey A. Allen advised his mount wasn’t suited to the tempo of the race, adding that when obtaining clear running in the later stages of the home straight, it ran on well.
LASQUETI BOOM – Began awkwardly and was bumped. Raced wide throughout. Bumped near the 250m.
ROCKRATA – Bumped on jumping. When asked to comment on the seemingly improved performance, Trainer R. Tyrell said he elected to drop the gelding back from 1800m to 1400m as in his opinion it was struggling to run out the distance of 1800m. He added that the gelding had blinkers back on today and he had expected a forward showing.
