No More Bids: Upon entering the home straight had to be checked off the heels of Deck of Aces who had shifted outwards when not fully clear. Apprentice I Teh, rider of Deck of Aces,
pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under AR131(a) in that she permitted her mount to shift outwards when insufficiently clear resulting in No More Bids having to check
and lose its rightful running. Upon sentencing Stewards took into account her good record. The licence of I Teh to ride in races was suspended for a period of 8 days
to commence midnight 30th May up to and including midnight 7th June.
Race 5: FAB Financial Services Benchmark 45 Handicap 1517M
Hecanrockme: The failure to remove the pre-race ear muffs at the barriers saw Hecanrockme complete the race with the pre-race earmuffs still intact.
Under the provisions of AR204(1) (d), because Hecanrockme finished in fourth place the gelding could not be declared an non starter.
