The following runners were declared late scratchings due to no rider being available:
Race 3 - FLAWLESS AMBITION @ 7:50am
Race 3 - MISS RINEHART @ 8:00am
Race 4 - MR ENCORE @ 8:00am
 
Race 1: QUEENS REIGN SUPREME BENCHMARK 60 Handicap 850m
 
The declaration of correct weight was delayed to allow trainer A Jones to view the official photo finish for fourth place. After doing so was satisfied with the judges numbers and correct weight was declared.
 
OUTBACK RINGER – Bumped on jumping by STELLA BOO. Raced wide throughout. Inclined to lay inwards when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
BORNEO – Bumped heavily and hampered on jumping when MISSISSIPPI MORN shifted outwards and as a result bumped with LADY CONSORT, subsequently slow into stride. Raced keenly in the middle stages and had to be restrained from heels near the 400m. Held up for clear racing room until a point near the 100m. Inclined to lay inwards over the concluding stages.
 
MISSISSIPPI MORN – Shifted outwards on jumping hampering and bumping heavily with BORNEO.
 
IMPACTFULL MISS – Raced wide throughout. Carried wider entering the home straight when STELLA BOO laid outwards.
 
LULO ROSE – Blundered on jumping and slow to begin as a result. Raced wide throughout.
 
STELLA BOO – Blundered on jumping and bumped OUTBACK RINGER. Slow into stride. Raced wide throughout. Laid outwards upon entering the home straight carrying IMPACTFULL MISS wider on the track. When questioned in relation to the performance jockey C McIver stated that after being tardy away his mount was unable to make up ground as the mare has her best performances when able to find a position in the lead.
 
LADY CONSORT – Blundered on jumping. Raced keenly in the early stages. Inclined to lay inwards when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
 
Race 2: ON THE QUEENS COMMAND QTIS Maiden Plate 1000m
 
KICK AND WIN – Jockey N Summers reported that her mount had resented the kick back and as a result failed to fully stretch out throughout the event.
 
LITTLE FREDDY – Raced wide in the early and middle stages. Inclined to lay inwards in the early stages of the home straight.
 
ALVITAR – Shifted inwards on jumping and had to be corrected. Raced wide in the early stages. Apprentice T Orr in the presence of Racing Queensland apprentice coach R Fraad was spoken to advisedly to ensure he continues to ride his mount out fully to the finish.
 
DIAMOND CODE – Inclined to lay inwards when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
RISING RUBY – Raced keenly in the early stages.
 
CHANTILLY QUEEN – Slow to begin. Raced wide throughout. Laid inwards when placed under pressure in the home straight. When questioned in relation to the seemingly improved performance trainer J Hancock stated that the filly was second up today and had derived benefit from its previous run. He further added that racing at CHANTILLY QUEEN’s home track in his opinion may have proved beneficial.
 
 
Race 3: FIT FOR A QUEEN RATINGS BAND 0 - 50 Handicap  1194m
 
GOTTA HERO – Began awkwardly. Raced keenly in the early stages.
 
SOFTEN IT UP – Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. Inclined to lay outwards when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
MAGIC VALOUR – Shifted inwards on jumping hampering READY TO RHYME. Raced wide in the early and middle stages. Apprentice A Meissner reported that her mount raced flat and in her opinion the mare may have come to the end of its preparation.
 
BLAME THE BUBBLES – Began awkwardly. Raced wide throughout. Laid inwards when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
READY TO RHYME – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after not starting for an extended period of time and was cleared to start. Hampered on jumping by MAGIC VALOUR and lost ground as a result. Raced wide in the early stages.
 
FLAWLESS AMBITION – Declared a late scratching at 7:50 am due to no rider being available.
 
JELLISHOT – Raced wide throughout.
 
AWESOME MISS – Raced keenly in the early stages.
 
THE STORM - When questioned in relation to the seemingly improved performance trainer S Elix stated that the mare appreciated the step up in distance today in comparison to its most recent starts.
 
MISS RINEHART – Declared a late scratching at 8:00 am due to no rider being available.
 
 
Race 4: BOOKMAKERS APPRECIATION COUNTRY STAMPEDE QUALIFIER OPEN Handicap 1000m
 
The start of the race was marginally delayed due to CINDERELLA MAN having to be re-saddled behind the barriers.
 
LILY ALLEZ (NZ) – Shifted outwards shortly after the start impeding KING JESTER. When questioned in relation to the performance apprentice G Semmens stated that her mount was first up from a spell and would derive significant fitness benefit from today’s run.

BOOMING LAD – Hung inwards when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
SUNNYCOAST – Laid inwards when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
KING JESTER – Impeded shortly after the start when LILY ALLEZ (NZ) shifted outwards. Shifted wider on the track near the 600m to avoid the kickback. Inclined to lay inwards when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
COCHRANE – Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. Raced wide throughout.
 
DRAGON’S SNIP – Raced wide throughout.
 
MR ENCORE – Declared a late scratching at 8:00 am due to no rider being available.
 
CINDERELLA MAN - Slow into stride. Raced wide throughout.
 
 
Race 5: QUEENS OF THE TURF BENCHMARK 55 Handicap 1517m
 
ALL BUSINESS (NZ) – Began awkwardly.

CASH ARTIST – Raced wide throughout. Laid inwards when placed under pressure in the early stages of the home straight.
 
LEICA BITA FUN – When questioned on the performance apprentice T Orr stated that his mount had travelled well in the early stages however had failed to respond to his riding from the 800m.
 
NATIVE BEE – Shifted wider upon entering the home straight to maintain clear racing room.
 
FLYBALL – Began awkwardly.
