Race 1: FARM & GARDEN PRODUCTS Maiden Plate (3yo & up)  (850 METRES)
 
POWERED RIGHT UP – Shifted outwards on jumping hampering XTRAVAGANT TIME. Resented kickback noticeably in the middle stages and lost ground. When questioned in relation to the performance jockey C McIver stated that the gelding had travelled well in the early stages however after obtaining a position with cover POWERED RIGHT UP had resented the kickback and lost ground which proved detrimental to the finishing chances. He further added that the gelding had worked well to the line once out of the kickback.
 
XTRAVAGANT TIME – Began awkwardly. Hampered by POWERED RIGHT UP shortly after the start and slow into stride as a result.
 
MILITARY GIRL – Fractious prior to the start. Raced keenly in the early stages. Inclined to lay inwards under pressure in the home straight.
 
QUEENS LINES – Blundered on jumping. Raced wide in the early stages. Inclined to lay inwards under pressure in the home straight.
 
STORM SURGE – Fractious prior to the start. Began awkwardly. Raced keenly in the early stages. Raced wide throughout. Raced greenly under pressure in the home straight.
 
SEIZING DESTINY – Began awkwardly and shifted outwards. Raced wide in the early stages. Inclined to lay inwards under pressure over the final 100m.
 
SPARKLING LINES – Slow into stride. Resented the kickback noticeably in the early stages. Raced wide from a point near the 450m. Trainer G Blake was advised that a warning would be placed on the filly’s record due to a poor performance.
 
 
 
Race 2: AURA PARTNERS PTY LTD CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS RATINGS BAND 0 - 50 Handicap (1194 METRES)
 
LAUNCH MODE – Began awkwardly. Raced wide throughout. Inclined to lay inwards under pressure in the home straight.
 
RICALLEN – Began awkwardly. Raced keenly in the early stages. Raced wide in the early stages.
 
THE FRUITOLOGIST – Switched inwards approaching the 100m to maintain clear racing room.
 
MAGIC VALOUR – Began awkwardly. Over raced in the early stages.
 
POWER MAIDEN – Began awkwardly. Resented the kickback in the middle stages. Raced wide throughout. Inclined to lay inwards under pressure in the home straight.
 
ROCK DREAMER (NZ) – Raced wide throughout. Inclined to lay inwards under pressure in the home straight.

GIGI FILLE – Began very awkwardly and slow to begin as a result. Inclined to lay inwards under pressure in the home straight.
 
 
 
Race 3: RAY WHITE BILOELA QTIS Class 2 Handicap(1000 METRES)
 
FUTURE SOLDIER – Began awkwardly. Upon returning to scales jockey A Spinks reported that he had dropped his right rein and as a result was unable to fully test his mount.
 
WHATTA MISSION –Resented the kickback in the middle stages. Inclined to lay outwards under pressure in the home straight.
 
ELRONTE – Began awkwardly. Raced wide in the early stages.
 
AUGUST JOE – Raced wide in the early stages. Inclined to lay inwards under pressure in the home straight.
 
MY PEPPERJACK – Was declared a late scratching at 1:00pm on veterinary advice after a veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have inflammation to the near side neck area. Trainer D Schultz was advised that MY PEPPERJACK would require a veterinary certificate prior to racing again.
 
ENERGIA – Began awkwardly and slow into stride as a result. Over raced in the early stages.
 
 
 
Race 4: RUM CITY FOODS PINK IN THE PADDOCK OPEN Plate(1000 METRES)
 
HEAT – Began awkwardly. Raced wide throughout. Inclined to lay outwards entering the home straight.
 
SOOPAT – Began awkwardly. Inclined to lay inwards under pressure in the home straight.
 
CORKSCREW (NZ) - Inclined to lay outwards under pressure in the home straight.
 
RESURRECTED – Raced wide throughout. Laid inwards under pressure in the home straight.
 
BORNEO – Began awkwardly. Raced wide in the early and middle stages. Inclined to lay inwards under pressure in the home straight.
 
 
 
Race 5: STELLAR CONVEYANCING GLADSTONE BENCHMARK 55 Handicap (1517 METRES)
 
 
FULL STRENGTH – Began awkwardly and hampered shortly after when MR DEMOCRAT shifted inwards.
 
MY SPY – Raced wide in the early and middle stages. Raced keenly in the early and middle stages.
 
MADAM EXCELS – Began awkwardly. Inclined lay out under pressure in the home straight.

MR DEMOCRAT – Began awkwardly shifting inwards hampering FULL STRENGTH. Raced wide in the early stages. Approaching the 1200m stepped inwards briefly crowding LITTLE FREDDY. Apprentice G Semmens was advised to exercise greater care in similar circumstances.
 
MISS ELOTAN – Bounded on jumping and slow to begin as a result. Inclined to lay inwards under pressure in the home straight.
 
LITTLE FREDDY – Began awkwardly. Briefly crowded approaching the 1200m when MR DEMOCRAT stepped inwards. Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. When questioned in relation to the performance he advised that the gelding may not have appreciated the step up in distance in comparison to its most recent starts. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities. Trainer N Vuille was advised that a warning would be placed on LITTLE FREDDY’s record for a poor performance.
