Bailey that a tail was requested when TIPPED OFF was fractious in the barriers. After hearing evidence from jockey W. D’Avila and starter Mr. B. Brady and Trainer A. Bailey stewards were satisfied it was miscommunication which resulted in the horse not getting a tail in the barriers. Trainer A. Bailey requested that a tail be added to the starters report going forward.

When questioned about the seemingly improved performance of the gelding today trainer A. Bailey advised the horse, in his opinion, had raced without luck in previous starts and that today’s conditions, dropping back to non-TAB status, were beneficial to its improved performance today.
