ALLISAM – Jockey J Missen reported that the mare jumped away well however when trailing the front runners resented the kickback and didn’t appreciate today’s going
 
SWIFT RESPONSE – Hampered upon jumping
 
MISS MANOEUVRE – Bumped my another upon jumped and lost ground
 
EVE’S JET – Jumped away awkwardly making contact with the runner to its inside
 
WAVERLY HEIGHTS – Resented the kickback in the early and middle stages of the event, jockey G Steele reported that approaching the home turn she shifted her mount wider on the track to avoid the kickback and the gelding ran on well

Race 3: VIETNAM VETERANS QTIS Maiden Plate 1030m
 
PUNJABI SAVITAR – Hampered by another runner upon jumping
 
SEVENTY BELOW – Jumped away awkwardly making contact this the runner to its inside
 
LUCKY DRAW – Approaching the 400m commenced to weaken and became unbalanced tiring noticeably from the 400m, a post-race veterinary examination revealed that the mare had cardiac arrhythmia. Trainer M Patterson was advised that LUCKY DRAW must trial satisfactorily and he must produce a veterinary clearance, including the results of an ECG, prior to the mare being permitted to race again.
 
QUATRO AMIGOS – Was slow to begin, laid in under pressure in the home straight
 
MISS STAR – Resented the kickback and raced with its head in the air, blundered approaching the 700m
 
BUCK’S ME BOY – Raced wide throughout
 
 
Race 4: DIGGERS REWARDS B’Mark 65 H’Cap 1030m
 
NASTY GIRL – Was slow into stride and resented the kickback
 
MASTER DENRHO – Was steadied approaching the 600m when placed in restricted room. App N Seymour the rider of MORE WORDLY was reprimanded for allowing her mount to shift in at that point of the race and reminded in similar circumstances to show greater effort to straighten her mount when on an inward path with runners to her inside.
 
MORE WORDLY – Raced 3 wide throughout, hung out rounding the home turn

Race 5: GYMPIE RSL CLUB CUP B’Mark 65 H’Cap 1470m
 
KALANGADOO CHROME – Slow to begin and steadied from heels shortly after the start, raced wide throughout
 
PERSISTENT SHADOW – Jumped away awkwardly and hung out noticeably throughout the event, a post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer L Wanless was advised that a warning will be placed on the mares racing manners.
 
ON DEMAND – Steadied when placed in restricted room approaching the first turn. App L Dillion was reprimanded for allowing her mount to shift momentarily and tightening runners to her inside.
 
FASTA THAN LIGHT – Raced wide throughout
 
ELUSIVE ELEMENT – Held up slightly rounding the home turn. Trainer T Thomas was issued a reprimand under AR 65 for failing to produce the geldings Thoroughbred Identification Card
