WHAT A DRAGON – Raced wide throughout.

Race 2: Alva Beach Open Handicap 900 metres:
1st – STARLISTIC 2nd – SUNSETS ON FIRE 3rd – SNITZEM 4th – KINGS ROAD

FUNDIDO was a late withdrawal at 1:30pm on veterinary advice. Stewards ordered all bets placed on FUNDIDO be refunded in full. Market revised. No deductions applicable.

ASSERTIVE ALBERT – Knuckled over at the start bumping with another runner. Lost considerable ground as a result.

ALL THE TORQUE – Slipped at the start bumping with another runner. Inclined to lay in throughout.


Race 3: Wunjunga Class 3 Plate 1000 metres:
1st – SANDBAR JACK 2nd – MOONLIGHT CAFE 3rd – NAIL ‘em 4th – DENIS THE DUDE

ALO MAGIC – Knuckled at the start and shifted out bumping with another runner.

LITTLE ANNIE ROCKET – Lost ground at the start after bumping with another runner.

VIRGINIA FALLS – Raced wide in the early and middle stages.

Race 4: ‘The Bun’ Maiden Plate 1180 metres:
1st – EXTRA GLANCE 2nd – SAVAGE LAND 3rd – HELOW TUCKER 4th – GREENSKI

HELOW TUCKER – Raced keenly early.

TUFF TOBY – Dislodged rider in barriers. Quickly remounted. Slowly away.

GREENSKI – Had to be steadied at approximately the 500 metres when racing tight to the inside of another runner.

SAVAGE LAND – Inclined to lay in down the running.




Race 5: Plantation Beach Benchmark 60 Handicap 1180 metres:
1st – FAST ‘n’ SHARP 2nd – DANGAR DIVA 3rd – ARCANUS 4th – BLEACHING

LOUPETS – Bumped with another runner at approximately the 200 metres.

BLEACHING – Steadied off the heels of another runner which was inclined to lay in at approximately the 900 metres.

RED BOHEMIA – Inclined to lay in at approximately the 900 metres inconveniencing another runner. Shifted in bumping with another runner at approximately the 200 metres.

Race 6: Wallaces Creek Class B Handicap 1460 metres:
1st – SUNNY CHIEF 2nd – FLIGHT TO GLORY 3rd- GABONIA 4th – SERENE PEARL

SERENE PEARL – Jumped inwards at the start inconveniencing another runner. Shifted in slightly at approximately the 1300 metres tightening another runner. Rider told to exercise more care.

SUNNY CHIEF – Shifted out slightly at approximately the 1300 metres tightening another runner. When questioned by stewards in relation to the gelding’s seemingly improved performance in today’s event as opposed to it’s previous start when it raced ungenerously throughout, trainer Mr. R Cussons attributed the improvement to the addition of a cross over noseband and lugging bit, which assisted the gelding to race more tractably today. Stewards noted Mr.Cusson’s explanation.

RATSTAN – Inconvenienced at approximately the 1300 metres when tightened between runners.

ADIZERO – Lost ground at the start when tightened by another runner which jumped inwards.
