SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT

Mt Isa Race Club
Saturday July 10, 2021

Following inquiries, Stewards issued a fine in the sum of $200 to licensed Trainer Ms D Ballard after it was found Ms Ballard had been in breach of AR89(2), in that she had failed to report, within a reasonable timeframe, that the thoroughbred gelding, MEDIA VITA, which was in her care, was being treated for what could have been a notifiable condition. Ms Ballard was advised of her right to refer the matter to the Internal Reviewer.

LIVELY LASS – Raced greenly in the home straight.

AGAINST THE ODDS – Bled from both nostrils in running. This being the 1st episode, Trainer M Geaney was advised that the gelding would not be permitted to start in any race for a period of 3 months, and then only after a satisfactory gallop of at least 1000m in the presence of a Steward.
