GENERAL
 
As jockey M. Abe was not attending today’s meeting due to illness he was replaced as per steward’s summary.    
 
Race 1:TOP END APPS CLASS B HANDICAP – 900 Metres

BELLEOFTHEHUNTER – Fractious in the barriers prior to the start. Began very awkwardly and lost ground. Trainer Ms S Royes was advised a warning would be placed on the mare’s barrier manners.
 
WHITS END – Laid out rounding the home turn forcing GUAPO wider.  
 
GUAPO – Raced wide for the majority of the race and forced wider rounding the home turn by WHITS END which laid out. Shifted in abruptly leaving the 100 metres before being corrected.
 
MILLAA MISS – Shifted out just prior to the winning post bumping with SNAP CHAT.

SNAP CHAT – Shifted in just prior to the winning post bumping with MILLAA MISS.
 
FILLY SLATER – Sprung its off-front plate during running.
 
Race 2: CUMIC STEEL MAIDEN PLATE – 1100 Metres 
 
ALPHA BLUE – Slow to begin.
 
FIGHT ME MONA – Slow to begin and shifted out and away from WAKE UP SOO which
shifted out. Finished tailed off. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the filly to be shin
sore in both forelegs.Trainer F. Wieland was advised he must provide a veterinary certificate
of soundness prior to FIGHT ME MONA being permitted to trial or race again.   

 
WAKE UP SOO – Shifted out at the start hampering FIGHT ME MONA. Shifted in brushing
the running rail near the 800 metres and was steadied. Raced greenly for the majority of the
race.
 
Race 3: ANTHOULA POTIRIS 21ST RATINGS BAND 0 - 60 HANDICAP – 1100 Metres
 
METEORANO – Slow to begin.Raced wide for the majority of the race.

FLUTTERING – Slow to begin.
 
AIR FORCE ACE – Over- raced in the early stages.  
 
MUSICAL GIRL – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
SOLOMON – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
Race 4: BACKPACKER SHACK OPEN HANDICAP – 1200 Metres
 
SUPPOSEDLY WICKED – Over-raced in the middle stages.
 
Race 5: MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM ITC QTIS BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP – 1500
Metres
 
LITTLE RED PEPPER – Slow to begin.
 
SHOCK ZONE – Bumped near the 900 metres.
 
LAUDEYLOU – Laid out near the 900 metres bumping SHOCK ZONE.
 
KIM ALICIA – Steadied near the 1200 metres.
